Something really weird happened. Built HS in Ae-sin end of last turn. I did not finish a tech/civic last turn also but I was able to get a discounted HS on the 3rd city. However, I would have not gotten a discount in the capital. Really weird.

Pretty sure that southern barb camp wasn't present when my scout was around that area less than 10 turns ago. Wonder if clearing that camp will fulfill Kandy's quest instead of the intented barb camp to the north.

Ae-Sin: Worker for 4th city (clear marsh, pasture horse, plantation tea) -> trader
Dong-Mae: Warrior chop into HS -> Campus at size 4 -> TOA
4th city: Warrior chop into GP -> Archer chop into Ancestral Hall -> Monument.

TAD declared on Zanzibar. I guess warmongers gotta war. As stated previously, would have instead try to settle the cities closer to him with tons of chops available instead of taking over cities that are mature but have limited potential. Was hoping to try to play a builder's game but this means war.

I really should have done this last turn but having Ae-Sin build another worker to speed-up chops in 4th city for military instead of trader. Dong-Mae will Magnus chop warrior into archer then HS for much needed military and to time completing Bandar Brunei's quest with diplomatic league.

So lots to discuss. Met suboptimal who is probably sailing the world in a galley. He is already at war with an unknown player who is most likely Woden. Also he is not leading in the religious race! Better run some projects for the DotF. Also see that his tech is at 2nd level of Classical so probably finished ship building.
First to 4 cities for sure from demotracking. Purchased the planned tiles and those will be the only ones I buy for a while. Planned gold from southern barb camp is RIP. I think I really need iron ASAP because TAD has now surrounded the gold CS. Pretty plausible that he will take it. Upgrade his warriors, then march them over to me. Oligarchy for life.
Next settler will probably go to the coast for Kandy's quest.
Now I want to assure you that the dark age has been intentional all long because I want to enter a medieval heroic age and faith buy 5 charge builders with all the faith I save up. Another unplanned but good effect of the dark age is that I got to change civics. Replaced urban planning for Ilkum to cut worker build in Ae-sin by 1 turn, which might be crucial.

Found pindicator who is struggling as predicted. Indonesia did finish a project to take the lead for the 1st prophet. TAD has iron and is at 1 level of Classical so he already might have sword access. I finished masonry last turn because I dont know why, which seems really stupid right now. I hope that iron is at a convenient location. TAD did settle the E city with tons of forests so he will be 1st to 5 cities soon . Doesnt look like he is going to harvest any wheat to speedup the growth though or I could be wrong. I am definitively TAD's target since he has a DOF with pindicator.

All that melodrama for nothing. There was enough overflow science from last turn that I completed BW this turn anyways. Glad to see that iron is close by and that tile will give 2 science when improved due to the unique district. HS will finish in 3 turns, then I will complete teching horseback writing the next turn to reset the ABC values for the district discount, then place the discounted government plaza. Zanzibar is toast but I am not going to he happy with this arrangement. Realized that TAD discoved MT, not PP, as the 6th civic for the support bonus, and that he spent 100+ gold buying a campus tile.

Since the discussion from the balance thread, I realized that I could declare on pindicator and give him 100% to catchup because I want him to counterbalance TAD but I am honestly afraid that it might make TAD quit civ6 forever, so I will not given how precarious the civ6 RB community is already when there are people unhappy with GS and can't agree on whether to play base game or R&F. I personally think that R&F is the better game right now despite its faults.
