Ok, so this map is the first map ive actually played with Flying units enabled ( i still havent played anymore of the campaign... ) So, i took it for a test drive in the "local" setting. Not a bad map, actually has some combat on all sides. So, my goal here is to take control of the skies. Going to fend off my northern neighbor, and pile-drive Scooter into the ground. Ive built a spear with my first build, and will build another spear next turn. The turn after that i plan on a dragon + golem, and im going to try and snipe his commander if he goes deep with it.
Now, my commander is special.. he's a dog that "inspires" his north/west/east/south directly adjacent units to move again. I have to be careful using it, as it does mean that MY commander needs to be in the fray as well. However, if i get close enough to hit someone's commander witha unit, specially a giant/dragon.. and my commander is in range? Oh baby.
North in the blue: CheaterHater Aka Vincent- He is using a commander that can jump and deal damage as her ability, very aggressive, although it can be used to run away.
East in the orange: Scooter- He is using the same commander i hated from the last game. Her ability is to call down ANY unit ( im guessing flying units too? ) but must pay the cost. The unit is able to move right away.
In the North/east: BobChillingsworth who i will just refer to has Bob, or Red- He is using the whirlwind lady. I havent play tested her to know her abilities range.. but from what i understand, she can move any unit anywhere, other than a commander.. So i dont know if this bitch can move a giant to say, a HQ 50 tiles away? or what her actual deal is. Seems real.. limited.
Ill be watching Vincent very closely. Im sure he might want some payback/revenge for the commander kill from last game.

I'd prefer it if you avoided using derogatory terms for women.

Can do.

Its likely going to get interesting. Scooter may end up losing both of his production buildings soon. I... COULD take one of them out, but id end up losing the expensive Dragon unit. Might give him some leeway to deal with Armstrong, which will hopefully be noticed, as i want to setup a defensive spear formation to protect my north front along with 1-2 mages. Im hoping i can lockdown my north with that, and focus on securing the south island, and maybe pushing for Scooters Air tower if he leaves it open?

Well, i decided to be "that" guy.. and took his barracks out. Scooter does not have any ground production for a whole turn, possibly multiple turns. He will, however... have all that money available for dragons/witches out of the air tower. I have secured a "no fly zone" and "dare you to attack into 4-5 spears" towards CH. Everything else will be to secure my new Air tower that scooter is keeping warm for me. two air towers = multiple witch or witch + dragon production for superior attack and defensive power.

Alrighty, Scooter is probably.. 4 turns from being out of the game, unless something drastic happens. That is going to swing alot of favor towards me winning this. CH and Armstrong will be fighting in the north, CH can always send units down to prod me.. however my spear wall and anti air units will make that not cost efficient.. and with me having the most income in about.. 3 turns, its not looking great.
I do have to give armstrong some credit, the giant rush to knock out his barracks was frankly.. Brilliant. And with the amount of roads we have that wagon will put in some nice work. Scooter could pop a dragon, and that would hamper my ability to crush the rest of his west side. But i can make a witch the next turn and its guaranteed dead in the sky. Might be able to take out a potential dragon with some harpies + alchemist. If i can cap his Tower he is done for. If he realizes this, he will deal with the giant and then push everything into me. Id hate to be in his shoes right now.

Scooter decided to build a balloon... for some reason. Unless there is some shenanigans i dont know about, that looks to be a "im done with this match" move. Im moving in to finish off some of his buildings, i would have had more units/healthy units.. but the %dmg being done screwed me over. SEVERAL times i should have had a complete kill only to be leaving the unit with 1% hp.. FFS.

Balloon is 1shottable by almost anything that can hit it, it doesnt outrange ( if i remember right ) Any anti-air, and Scooter admitted it was a mistake/misclick. Wagons have their uses, as they have a RIDICULOUS range. But Balloons, at least on this map.. are pointless.
Taking Scooter out helps me the most, as i share the horizontal border with him. Bob would love for me to pull back and fight CH more, but i need/want the extra air tower and income. I feel confident that im going to win this match. Bob has to pull back before i overwhelm his forces with air units, and my commanders double-move groove. He would be smart to anyway.. Specially with CH moving in with force ( and almost losing his commander...again ) to move his units back and hold off CH. Although from Bob's comment in the Wargoove main thread, it sounds like he has already given up..
I think, bob could still stay in it. Maybe not a contender, but at least a thorn in CH's side. Im about to launch a very intense campaign into the heart of CH's production/income. This should draw CH's main group of units back to defend, and defend they must as i will be attacking with a LEGION of spears.. as they are near-brokenly powerful when you have anti air or air support. A line of spears + 2 witches and a dragon? Yeah, good luck killing them with your own dragon/trebs.. lol. My income will be much higher than CH's if he doesnt capture all of Bob's income buildings soon. A couple giants will wreck his entire Soldier based army.
Scooter is, definitely out of the running/game soon. He could have pushed back Bob's units with a called down giant instead of that balloon a couple turns ago, but i think he's mentally shutoff from the game after Bob's vicious giant rush.
