BTW is there a way to see scores of players you havent met in the mod? Just realized that this is not visible, which means death to demohacking.

Is this the gateway to another players's domain?



Everyone else popped their borders and I am now bring-up the rear. Here are the important points. The other 7 players gained a combined 75 tiles for an average of 10.7, which is high considering that there are only 12 tiles the 2nd ring can grab. There is at 1 person besides me who also have 16 land tiles, and the landlocked person(s?) gained all 12 2nd ring tiles for a total of 21 tiles.

This looks like a dead end but will explore now so I dont have to later.



This is the turn where 3 other teams gained techs so it's time to do some C&D. From PBSpy (thanks Cornflakes), we can see that Commodore, Discord, and RM all gained a tech, which is probably hunting/fishing since those are the cheapest. Since the rival average power increased to 5428 compared to 4571, there was about a global increase of 6k power overall. 5428(7) - 4571(7) = 5999. I'm sure there is some rounding error somewhere. Since hunting gives 2k power, all 3 teams researched hunting. The top power of the Mali team increasing by 2k confirms this suspicion. Do we have similar starts?

Demos are very scary. Chumchu only gained a tech this turn but the overall power increased by 4K and the bottom power is now 4k. Based on my sim, it's likely that chumchu got mining this turn and DZ got a quechua.

Not interesting. SD and DZ are still teching and I know at least 1 civ is researching something with a prereq because of high GNP without CRE culture so I believe they are both teching AH.



Very interesting. Global power decreased by 2k. Who could it be? I am sure it is actually DZ that lost a Quechua. The lowest power is now back to 2k from 4k and the only players that started with 2k power are Chumchu (2k Hunt + 0k Myst + 0k scout) and DZ (0k Agri + 0k Myst + 2k warrior). Since it's close to impossible for chumchum to lose power because he teched mining (99.99% sure), the only solution is that DZ lost his starting warrior. That does explain why he built another one but he is crushing his growth without the early worker.

EDIT: Gavagai did gain a tech but penciling it in as Agriculture due to no rise in power
