Put me down in the "AP is entertaining" club, too.

The AP can be very entertaining, with mass war declarations and other craziness. A lot depends on whether the AP is built for a widely spread religion, in which case you tend to see coalitions form against any infidel civs, or if it gets built for a minority religion that only one or two civs have. In the latter case, the AP can turn into a sort of shield of invulnerability with stop the war and return city resolutions being voted through by the one civ that has a substantial number of votes. Somehow the rest of the world is forced to obey the dictates of one civ which has only a small fraction of global power and pop.
Do AIs ever defy AP resolutions? They definitely vote against resolutions that would hurt them, but they do not seem to defy them even when it would cost them a city or stop a war they are clearly winning.

I also support retaining the AP. It boosts the religion-obsessed AIs, who are otherwise generally a mediocre bunch, and they are surprisingly strategic in the resolutions they propose and vote for, unlike the UN. As aggravating as it is to see wars ended and cities reassigned, I'm not convinced watching a dominant AI stomp it's competitors with no effective opposition is much more entertaining.

They will defy, although I'm not sure what the conditions for it are. Just saw Alex defy a stop-the-war resolution in a SP game.

Hatty's only moment of fame in survivor games was when she defied every resolution for no apparent reason

As for AP, its entertainment value gets old, we've had it in action for 4 seasons, I'd be up for one without it

How difficult would it be to mod the AP to get rid of the diplomatic side but keep all the other benefits? The 2 production per religious building is really nice for the religious civs (even though it does apply to other civs too).

I have a minor feedback for the screenshots you take for the previews. I can clearly see the resources and terrain situation to the west and east of every civ, but the north and south are most times a bit obscure or hidden. Is there any way you could show more of these areas of the starting positions in the future. Or maybe give us an overview of the map with all resources enabled. Thanks for organizing everything so far.

Regarding peaceweights - it's worth noting that default peaceweights are randomized by ±3 (the PeaceWeightRand value of every leader). So, theoretically, two peaceweight 5 leaders can end up as 2 and 8 in a particular game, which would give them a -2 attitude difference to each other. The formula is + 4 - [peaceweight difference].

Can peaceweights go past their normal limits? For instance, could we end up with a game where Gandhi’s peaceweight hits 13, while Montezuma’s hits -3?
