Moved injured warrior north taking a chance that there isn't another barb but there was. Would need to run to the E if it approaches me. Was hoping I could scout the coast through. No chariots anywhere in the fog for the 5th city.
As you can see, after I took the screenshot for T61, I changed the build in Discount card to an axe. Axes are not in a rush to the front unlike spears.
Commodore got credit of 8 land times, likely from capital border expansion, and grew his 2nd city to 4 (now 5,4,2). Both Discord and chumchu teched unknown ancient techs (late pottery for the former). DZ grew his 3rd city to size 5 (now 5,3,5,1). You can see that his 2nd city is still at size 3; probably stagnating while working mines. Global increase in power of 8k, which doesnt mean anything at this point.

Correction, there was only a 5k increase in global power on T60.

Absolutely no food. It just feels like playing a random SP map (not that I would know since I only play SP with Torusland script). Note the lack of cottages in DZ. This is probably because of all those rax builds, which should have been workers.
SD gained 2 points from conquering chumchu's city 20 turns ago and grew his 2nd and 3rd city while planting his 4th city (now 5,4,2,1). Commodore grew his capital and 3rd city (now 6,4,3). Gavagai teched. Likely hunting since it was very recent tech. Global power increase of 6k disregarding population.

First ever size 7 city in the world (thanks to borrowing the FP while Bambi was building a worker), but won't last long with the settler whip next turn. Looks like DZ is touching RM already. Sadly this probably means whoever started E of RM will benefit the most. I wonder if I should try exploring N of DZ's land or ask OB to scout RM as well.
The Discord team got credit for the 4 land tiles they got 20 turns ago. Gavagai grew his 2nd+3rd+4th city (now 5,4,3,2). RM grew his 2nd city to size 2 now (he planted that city on T54). After I played, looks like Commodore 1 whipped his cap and chumchu settled a new city. no global power increase aside from population.

Sorry for the late post but C&D is getting really annoying with all the land points I have to account for. Since PBEM65, I think this is the farthest I have gone in keeping up with C&D? Wonder how long this can last.

Now scouting to RM's territory while 2 workers are pre-roading and pre-chopping mids. From experience, it is really crucial to spend turns doing this if you want to "1turn" a wonder.
SD grew his cap to 6 (now 6,4,2,1). Commodore 1 whipped his cap again? (now 4,4,3) why is he dry 1 whipping warriors? Discord team grew their cities to size 4 but whipped 1 down to 2 (now 6,4,2,1). DZ got credit for 9 land tiles for 20 points. global power increase of 7k.

Spear by Nan Madol should have moved out 1 turn earlier but doesnt matter.
This is where C&D gets really frustrating but I think I figured it out. SD gained only 6 land tiles for 14 points. Likely that he gained 8 tiles in the 2nd city's 1st ring but lost 2 to chumchu's capital later on. Commodores new city only gained 1 tile? so he got credit for 2 points there and he got an ancient tech, (Masonry as we will see later), and whipped down another city by after I played. The Discord team regrew their size 2 to 3 (now 6,4,3,1). DZ grew his cap to 6 (now 6,5,3,1). RM settled a new city after I played (now 5,3,2,1). Global power increase of 15K.

Moving NW south to check out DZ's movements in that area. Got OB with RM and scouting him also preferrably pass through his land to meet another player.
Commodore and Gav both gained 13 points but doing the math actually shows that they actually gained 1 population and an ancient tech. Now Commodore grew his cap to 5 per the top 5 cities screen so he whipped down his 3rd city to 2. I can rule out that he whipped down his size 4 city because he 2 whipped that city EOT. (5,4,2 down to 5,2,2 after I played.) Taking that Commodore's population is as given, the only way that the math works out is if Gavagai grew his 2nd city to size 2 (now 5,4,3,3 he must have chopped a granary at size 1). It is visible that DZ grew his 3rd city to size 6 (now 6,3,6,1) and RM settled his 4th city as mentioned (now 5,3,2,1). Global power increase of 8K.











Surprised at DZ's power spike or maybe shouldn't from all the rax he built, and that he adopted a very late slavery.

ill write a detailed report once I figured out the C&D problems I have or give up on it later but I played a double turn on T71 and gave up on the turn split because previously, there was a race to the rice+cow site but DZ will get there 1st. I will now settle the backup city to the N fish but not happy that I will only have 7 cities including the cow wine filler but I guess gotta send HA to DZ. Right now I want to avoid conflict while building the mids and generating failgold since DZ has the top power now at 100k, which is 21k more than I have and my power isn't going to skyrocket anytime soon.

Sorry this is the turn I gave up on C&D since I cannot make sense of the population changes. Last turn Commodore grew a pop and it has to be from 3->4 otherwise he wouldn't be able to 2 whip a non-capital city. Note that the bottom demos and top 5 cities are after everyone played their turns so he did not whip the capital, which wouldnt make sense anyways since cities with size 4,3,2 would be only 75K, which would be below chumchu's lowest pop of 91K. Same reasoning can apply to take that RM grew his size 3 to 4 this turn, because he did not 2 whip his capital otherwise he would have the lowest pop afterwards at 76K. Discord team grew their cap to 7 and likely also grew their newest city to 2? Anyways it doesnt really matter then because Gav with 4 cities would have a population of 237K or 232K, which is just not possible. It is likely that my guess was wrong in a previous turn but I am too tired to try to find out where it went wrong.
I attached my excel type spreadsheet for anyone bored enough to figure it out but the formatting might be off since it is converted from Numbers, the Apple spreadsheet program.
Anyways the most important finding is that DZ teched a classical tech since he gained 12 points with no change in population. He doesnt have archery or writing from my C&D so he researched Iron working? Strange choice.

I guess I should also talk about the new city. Defender of the Faith got a well deserved nerf but my problem is that religious beliefs are top heavy. Let's look at PBEM14 for example. Cornflakes took DotF and Choral music. Pindicator got Jesuit education (way overrated which changes to R&F) and church property. I got Zen meditation but none of the other beliefs really was like ovbiously good? I took Crusade forseeing a lot of fighting down the road. TAD got the 4th religion but by then, there were just crumbs. Now FXS is balancing pantheons and now hopefully religions beliefs soon but this should have been done a while ago.

I am so mad that I can barely type but looks like DZ is going to attack me. He has 5 chariots already heading my way and looks like he just built 4 HA. whipped spears while I can because I expect my copper to get pillaged next turn but so stupid. His economy can't be good (no cottages) and it will be trash even more now, but he definitely ruined my chances. With 2 turns left to go in Maths, I changed my tech to archery, also due in 2 turns. Then finish maths and research HA of my own or IW. We will see if I can survive.
