Mack offered peace for my map, which I considered and finally refused. There was a white peace offer behind that one, which I accepted. Now the world is at peace, and I'm trying to pump up my GNP. Trade routes with Cairo give +6 commerce, and some libraries, markets, and elder councils will be completing over the next few turns. I also have a settler on his way to the gems/horse site between Auro and me.

Looking at that power graph, I'm guessing there may be a push for a new house rule that Mack isn't allowed to use invisible units. I really though Auro had got enough of the Sheaim kit together to be awkward, but no ...
Any way to turn that respectable crop yield into something useful?

Specialists, at the moment. Slavery is pretty weak, but I'll consider it if I ever finish that section of the tech tree.
More pictures:
I've been sending warriors out into the wilderness in an effort to kill animals before Mack or Cairo can capture them. The spider was a surprise, but I was lucky.
The city list reminds me that I need to post another video:
Not Towshend's best work, but it fits the theme.

Turn 107: I have coin-flip odds of generating the great bard I was hoping for the first time:
And, mirabile dictu:
I can steal the drama bard if no one one-turns drama:
Mack scored the Empyrean holy city a few turns ago, but that still seems like my best path.

Nice to get at least one break; fingers crossed for drama. I've lost track of your tech - is whichever bard is left over aimed at Sanitation?
Interesting Mack went for Honor - denial of the revealing shrine to the rest of the players I guess?

Mack grabbed the Drama bard; that's the cost of failing the first time. I used the bard for a golden age, since I'm going to want to do a religion swap and civics swap.

I've converted to Empyrean; it popped in a pretty bad city but I spread religion right away so my disciple wouldn't be killed by an assassin.
This game is looking more and more like a two horse race between Mack and Cairo. I'm falling behind even in my golden age.
I sent a scout to visit Auro, and he has a much advanced army than I do:

Turn 114 opens with one of my least favorite events:
Thank you sir! May I have another?
Not shown: I revolted to Conquest and Military State, and drafted my first Radiant Guard.
Mack is mocking me:
I got a passive religion spread at EoT. In my worst city, but gift horse, mouth, etc.
