I've always thought Stonehenge was kind of a noob trap unless you've already got enough workers/settlers our early (which is rarely the case) or the extra border pressure is needed to secure land vs your neighbours. I don't think either of those are true for us and I don't think denying it from the other players is really worth it. let them spend the hammers on it if they want, we'll be REXing uncontested across out continent in the meantime
Basically I feel we should prioritize workers and settlers over almost everything else at the moment. We've got pretty much nothing to fear for the foreseeable future so lets just grow as hard as we can and make sure we lock in The Oracle.

Fair enough - we really do need more workers ASAP, and the capital’s extra forests are better saved for other wonders or a settler. However, I think that after building two workers, Borsches old capital could be used to build it if it hasn’t been taken by then, if we do desire.

Oracle T56 in capital, just need to chop 2 more forests. Then MC and we should start soon/immediately on Colossus. We'll have one more chop available, plus resource bonus. Should be fine either way, really doubt anyone is going for MC yet. settler out next turn as well. Gonna probably take a few days break, so you'll need to take most of the turns.

Lurker notices: Oracle to T57, Boak planted the fifth city to the east of our capital. 5 cities by turn 55 is pretty awesome, except the maintenance costs are growing absurd.
Did a bit of micro - gave leclerc the rice to work since capital is not using it rn. There's a barb warrior nearby which is giving me a bit of paranoia. After oracle, Warrior->Forge->Colossus? It'll give us time for the worker to reposition and build a mine while another can finish the last road to the copper. The worker far west maybe should move east to road and chop out the pre-chop. Finally, the worker near Bottas should move up to the cow and finally pasture it. Afterwards, we really need to begin cottage spam in earnest. Our crop/mfg is still #1, and will skyrocket once capital finally regrows. However, GNP is very low and worrisome, but hopefully colossus will change the situation.
What are your ideas in terms of tech path? Sailing is a first, but then I am thinking writing, monarchy, and then beeline towards calendar. We really need the unlimited herd rule happy cap.

Did I miss a chop with Oracle? you mentioned it should finish T56 but when I logged in the best I could manage was T57 and all workers had already moved.

Nope, you're all good. I realized delaying it by 1 turn would probably be fine as we would have more to put into colossus.

Do you think we should use the two remaining forests in the capital BFC for the forge or colossus? I think it is better to get the forge out early, give it a 1 pop whip at the end, and have that overflow into the capital. Also, what do you plan to chop out with the worker 2S 1W of Raikkonen? Another worker/settler after the barracks? Or a work boat to grab the fish once barracks makes the city expand borders?

so uhh i think i just lost us Verstappen
i moved both warriors before I saw the Axe, like an absolute idiot... and now i won't be able to get either back into the capital in time... actually i guess we can whip a warrior next turn before it attacks? then move the northern warrior back in the turn after, then the eastern warrior in the turn after that... that should save the city, right? we'll just burn a bunch of warriors...
bah. what a stupid mistake.

actually we don't need to whip, if we change the citizen on the clam to the grass hill mine we'll finish a warrior before the axe attacks.

to answer your previous questions:
for tech, I honestly think we should get AH before Sailing, then writing. we should find out where our horses are asap, barb axes are going to be pretty painful to deal with without chariots. After Sailing I agree writing is the top priority and after that we should assess our need for IW over Monarchy - we do have a decent amount of jungle to clear.
for Riccardo's build order, i don't think we need to build Colossus immediately. There's no way anyone else is even near Metal Casting so I think we can take a little bit more time to squeeze out some more workers/settlers before we make a start on that. so maybe warrior (will upgrade in queue to a spear once the road to Raikkonen is done) > worker > forge > worker/settler > colossus? what do you think?
