GeneralKilCavalry is still around

Made a micro plan - 5 cities, 3 workers, 3 warriors, a scout, and monotheism by turn 57. Details in a write up will come next friday.

Demotracking this many people is a full-time job and I am not up for that.

In other news, found a bunch of 3/4 food tiles, plains cow, plains sheep, clam. Some wines and furs too. All around - meh.

Also note to self/babayetu- work wheat when city expands next turn for the sweet sweet +1 commerce. Woohoo!?

Sure. Quite busy last week/this week so have had little time to post.
Tentative tech path (I know about the late pottery and that lurkers will unanimously denounce me for it, but
A. I leave the option open and will have all bonuses towards it.
B. There are many things my workers can do in the meanwhile
C. Many of my cities are going to start off by being worker/workboat pumps
D. We're financial
E. Monotheism I expect at turn 54 with the latest micro sim based on new-found terrain instead of generic plains+coast in sim. That means turn 59 Pottery and granaries by turn 70 in 6-7 cities.
F. I may have been simming poorly, but granary build in capital only helps a bit, mostly since it'll be stuck at size 2 sharing crappy food tiles with nearby food-starved cities. We seem to have two nicer city spots but they are a bit farther.

However, this is all undecided as of yet since we are weighing getting judaism fast over granaries/cottages in our micro, and I'll probably knock myself out of this dangerous and stupid sentiment of getting pottery 20~30 turns after everyone else.

Also, Wheel before fishing saves us two settler move turns.

I'd say fishing before wheel, unless you want to save chops, coastal tiles are important.

Uh lurker instructions just in case:
Move scout northeast or something that takes 2 move and explores a bit north

Tech should be auto selected for you, or see pictures from earlier.

I can help if needed. Will try to post a picture each turn to let you input on exploration. Couple of turns before the Worker is due, so hopefully I won't need micro.

No opponents found. We're on a peninsula with a 1 tile fat chokepoint. Need to secure within the next 80 turns. (It's not nearby...) Found one really good inland spot for a future capital site. I'm more or less satisfied with the terrain. Pictures will come later. New micro will come with it.

Anyone who picked early game civs/traits is going to get shafted by the absolute size of this map. Superdeath/beardbeard are not gonna have a good time. We're more or less ok, but it's krill and gavagai who seem to have a really good prospect.

2nd city out near the cow. Building a warrior. Capital onto settler #2. City 3 should be planted by 40.

We weren't the first to get 2nd city, but will we be the first to 3? Stay tuned.

Also, no naming scheme for now. I absolutely love the aztec and zulu city names. My childhood was (spent? wasted?) on remembering the zulu and aztec city names in civ 3. the joys of new tlalmanalco 2 being planted on exactly the 5th ring to get the maximum corruption prevention...

If we do a naming scheme, knowing babayetu, it will probably involve analytical philosophers and the capital will be Quine and the second city Kripke. Still wondering whether gavagai got his name from reading word and object
