[SPOILER] superjm is Cassiel - Since When Have Heroes Ever Needed Plans?

I wish, Mack got such a fast start and knocked Auro out of the game so quickly it kind of paralyzed everyone, now Mack is trying to kill Auro for good and Cairo is next to me doing elf things so I'm finding it pretty hard to see how I would have a chance in this game.

There is a way though, risky though it may be. But as long as I have the strength of will to do it, it might turn out alright  shhh

How are your archmages doing?

I've been trying to keep an eye out on Auro's and Cairo's troop movements. My archmages are two hero units I'd been saving for ages, both with Enchant III for Enchant Staff and Metamagic III for genies, combat V, Spell Extension II, and Twincast. I do have a couple other Mage units nearing level 6 but obviously their promotions would be woefully lacking.

The last piece of the puzzle, and one of the main reasons I haven't moved forward to try and snipe Auro's stack yet, is the Summoner trait. If my math is correct, I get to choose it two turns from now and then I should be good to go. Unfortunately, Cairo's defense might already have collapsed too much by that point since all his units are frozen (Empyrean is pretty good) and he's already burned his world spell. If somehow I can hit Auro's stack in the window where he sufficiently weakens Cairo but before he can heal and consolidate, and he leaves himself open, I could be in a decent spot to muster an offensive towards Mack's core land to the south of me in the best case or, at the very least, go full on defense and go ToM.

Not sure how well this will work though with only two archmages. My last attempt at getting an Adventurer netted me a Commander instead unfortunately so I'm pretty much do-or-die with my two hero archmages, my hero Axe, and whatever other two candidates get themselves to 26XP quick enough.
