As far as I know, it is still in place.
There was really no discussion to the contrary, other than TheArchduke moaning about it, but he dropped out. Personally, I don't really care either way as long as we don't pillage farm them. That is all I care about. What do you think?
I think if that's what we started under then we should continue playing with that rule in place rather than making a change at T176.

Sounds good to me.

I thought there was a 3 envoy minimum needed to declare? But perhaps I got confused as to the mechanics of declaring and pulling in a suzerain go?

You need a minimum of 3 envoys and more envoys than any other player in order to be suzerain. No one was suzerain at Yerevan since the two leaders (you and Woden) had equal numbers of envoys. Declaring war on a city-state does not automatically bring the suzerain into war. Declaring war on the suzerain brings the city-state into the war.

How do you and woden want to handle it? Replay the turns? Penalty going forward? I'm fine with whatever you think is fair since I'm clearly in the wrong here.

Stop attacking the city. And if you took the city on your last turn, gift it to me when you can and I will liberate it. I had 3 envoys and I believe when you liberate a city state, you get 3 envoys starting out. One issue though is I think the city has to be full health, so it maybe a few turns before you can gift it. Other than that, I think losing the envoys you have can be punishment, at least that is my thought.
Not really interested in replaying turns at this moment.
Suboptimal, thoughts?

I agree that gifting it for liberation at the earliest opportunity is sufficient and that the loss of envoys is a sufficient penalty. I don't want to have to replay turns either and there's no need to get creative with the penalties.

Yikes, I completely forgot about this after I got home last night. Sorry about that. I think I've become too dependent on the email notifications from PYFT to remind me when to play. Will play tonight

I'm not able to gift the city. I guess the game considers Yerevan a capital city and therefore doesn't allow me to offer it for trade?
If I declare on Woden could I gift the city in 10 turns?
Holding the save for now until we agree on how to go forward.
