No, it is a Follower's belief, same as Choral Music, and you can only have one. You get one belief from each of the four groups: Follower, Founder, Worship, and Enhancer.

In that case, oops. I wonder if Scooter and company realized that.

In some cases, faith is better than gold, since the ratio of production-to-faith is lower than production-to-gold and having a high faith income can really speed up expansion.

Edit: Went back and looked at the belief discussion in scooter's thread and it looked like they went after Choral Music to deny it to the others...like TheArchduke, who will have lots of Holy Sites. Still don't know if it was the right choice.

I went back through the thread as well -- at some point Sulla mentioned that faith was more useful in Gathering Storm (without mentioning giving specifics).  I thought I also saw that scooter and company are going to be building lots of Holy Sites to generate faith and that the belief would let them generate a good amount of Icon_Culture and let them ignore Theater Districts.

That's not completely unreasonable, but given that theater districts also synergize with all the wonders they are going to have, it doesn't seem terribly efficient.

Choral Music provides 6Icon_Culture for 190Icon_Production (not counting the district cost) and they can build that in every city.  A theater square provides 6Icon_Culture if it's adjacent to three wonders in one city (or two wonders and two districts) and uses a district slot that's probably better used on a Campus or Commercial Hub.

I think it is a choice of short-term versus long-term benefit. In the short-term, Divine Inspiration gives +4Icon_Faith to wonders and lets you faith buy more builds and settlers under Monumentaliy, which means more wonders and a Medieval Golden Age. But I am not sure how wonder crazy they will go. If they build 10 wonders, it is only 40Icon_Faith per turn, which is equivalent to 4 fully developed Holy Sites if each has +1 adjacency.

With Choral Music, it takes a while to get going but if you add Wats, a fully developed Holy Site can provide 6Icon_Culture, 9Icon_Faith, and +2Icon_Science, plus whatever adjacency bonus they can get. But it takes a while to get going and you need to invest lots of production. You would be looking to get a Medieval or Renaissance Golden Age to get the benefits out of Monumentality.

I don't think taking either is game breaking, I just think there is a little more synergy between Divine Inspiration and China than Choral Music.

Saw borders of China in south at turn 44, so Scooter is quite close me. I delayed meeting upon purpose because at turn 46 I did levy Granada's units and then meet Scooter. This way Scooter don't know that I did levy units.

Would it be appropriate to tell him that the UI will show other players that the units are levied and not his? In PBEM 14 Woden levied units and had both a clock icon on the promotion level flag and a tootip stating that they were levied.

IMO, since it wasn't asked as a question but rather a statement of assumption, I think it best to let him find that out on his own. If he had asked a general question if an opponent could tell if units were levied, then you could answer.

I got the impression that this was less about 'don't let people know which of my units are levied' and more 'don't let him see the sudden jump in milpower that would tell him I'm about to bust some heads in'.

Are levied units counted in your military power ?
In that case hiding the drop of money and increase of power is indeed worth delaying contact.
