Clever micro exists to enable effective bloodshed.

That's a philosophy I can get behind. nod hammer

Demos. I'm pretty sure OH+hitru is 1st in crop, but they're up a city on me so that's only natural. Imperialistic Inca is great to have.

Numbers are still good. If I had won the coinflip T34 for religion and have my fish sooner it would not be fair. T66 I get 2 more fish tiles and pigs to boost the numbers further. GNP is a little inflated at 100% science.

Cities:

And another example of puzzle pieces combining together I present the settler journey of T64+65. Dedicated to Darrell.

Diatom settler is whipped T63. T64 it moves to Leviathan and jumps into the completed galley to move 2 extra tiles. The settler is then unloaded on the furs T65 and city is settled T66 with the pictured wb in place to immediately work the fish. thumbsup I really enjoy the early turns for things like this. nod

Galley brings a worker to chop and mine the grassland hill on 1st journey and then picks up an archer to scout the other landmass and (likely) a missionary to spread faith.

But where is the workboat mischief?

With the newly revealed silk (east) I have 3/4 market luxuries available, with a 100% building bonus for markets. That's an insane building, and even more so considering the costs I'll be having expanding far away. Going to see a lot of big beautiful cities this game.
Think that's the main difference from the PB41 map so far -- way more happiness (and more food too). In the event that there's a civ in the near fog there are so many silk resources that I should be able to trade for one.

Also worth noting that Borsche declared war on 2metra last turn. Probably nothing, but we'll see if it persists. And they're not updating their threads so I guess it's my responsibility to mention these things. wink

Puzzling. Rival best food dropped to 52 and I don't see any OH whips. Maybe he rearranged tiles? noidea

Borsche took a city from 2metra, but the latter still has copper, so I don't expect him to go down. And rival best soldier is only 55k (I'm 2nd at 47k), so it can't be that serious. Maybe an opportunistic snipe. That would be the best case scenario for me. Have the two lock heads while I peacefully settle all of the Valley of Value.

Now you don't really bother hooking up health resources in the early game, I have many missing from there myself, but it's not an impressive list. lol
Compared to the turn before he's lost 1x cow after Borsche took the city.

Still, as long as he keeps copper I don't see a world where Borsche can eliminate him. I'll happily trade the bad religion RNG for this conflict to drag on and leave me to my own devices.

Correction: Borsche razed one of 2metra's cities. The score decrease came so late that I originally thought it was a whip, but the f4 screen doesn't lie. Very, very good news. Interesting that he couldn't keep it after going through the trouble of declaring war and making an enemy for life (surely). They made peace (cease fire) last turn. Hopefully just for now.

Before scouting I thought this area was more open and that the double clam spot would be land heading east, but now that I see how much of a chokepoint it is I'm definitely heading there very soon. Just need a few axes and spears. You may ask why not chariots, and well....
I thought about making a joke a few turns back about where I'd get my horses when animal husbandry would finish. Too bad I didn't cuz this would be even funnier then.

It's the one and only tile on the entire continent that's impossible for me to claim. rolf And yes, it's the only source available.
Luckily I have Judaism, so I can build a temple, monastery and/or library in Anchovy to speed up the road to 100 culture, but that's very inconvenient.

Ouch, that is rough. Give the RNG credit for always finding a way to throw a wrench in your plans.

The great feast of 1360 BC. 16 crop increase in a single turn.

I'm sure Team Harry will catch up soon, but hoping this will scare them at least a little bit. wink And maybe it will result in a Krill rant too.  Allears

I settled the overseas city and while I forgot to check the +gpt before settling I know that it was substantially lower than after. Loving those trade routes.
I can spread Judaism T69, if it hasn't happened naturally already, which means that the granary will be easily completed on size 2 after chop+mining the grass hill (OR bonus).
I considered settling on the PH instead, but I want the fur right away and this leaves the other fish much more flexible. Tundra furs tile isn't good enough to worry about settling on -- just 1/1/4.
