Can we call the game for Rusten at this point? He's getting all the food and gold unopposed, and then it's easy conquest of his huge continent with two weakened neighbours. And he is the type to stay engaged with 50+cities to manage.

There's also a couple of more unknown quantities in this game, BaII and Adler had very competitive demos when we got to see them, need to see if they can handle the mid-game as well as the early game though.

Yeah, I just felt that OH was doing just as well. He neighbours Elkad, who is generally a good conquest target(sorry Elkad), if he takes him out in the same time Rusten takes 2metra then he'll be right beside Borsche and can mess with Rusten if he tries the 2nd invasion. He currently has better demos than Rusten and you need to work hard to make Spi beat Fin in a late game water map ...

The barbs have been rough. Makes sense given the empty space. I don't think I could handle a 3% barb loss with the grace of Old Harry & co.

Yeah, that was refreshing. Rusten's defenses feel thin, it would not shock me if he suffers a setback too.
