Got 17 libraries event.
Only worth pursuing if I was to land the GL. I want to unlock HE early anyway, so it's not completely out of the question.
OH has currency as of T84 at least (maybe earlier and I missed it).
Someone has OB trade routes as of this turn for -3/+3. (probably also OH and someone I haven't met)
If my exploring WBs don't meet someone else next turn, I'm going to have to overcommit on EPs vs someone. Probably OH.

OH galley showed up to my NW (north side of Fallen). I've got a single D1/3 6xp archer in Fallen. If he was to declare and unload a couple units, I can take it to G2, for +170% defense total. Probably would be fine, but it would sure irritate me. Or he could camp my copper tile. If he brought spear+axe, I'd have to throw shock archers at them.
Also gives me a resource link to him. He has copper, horses, furs, gold, and a lot of food.
TBW has a shock axe in Neapolis, and a promotable Shock axe to the south on his land. Barb troubles? Event?
TBW also has a scout back over by me again. It'll see my settler, 2x archer, 2x worker, and Tracker next turn if he moves onto the gems hill (and I attracted him by building a road there with spare worker turns, so he will probably do it).
I'm tied for 1st in Pop, middle of the pack in other stats (other than Land.. all my water doesn't help there)
2t to SoZ
I got some screenies, but I'm headed out the door for my D&D group. I'll get them up this evening.

Any big plans for using the SoZ? Or is it just for denial?

As in war plans? Not now. Just leveraging Cha.
And getting promos on my boats.
Too much land to settle still.
Who knows, amphibious xbows might be in the future.

YAY. My webspace is fixed finally!

TBW hovered axe is SW corner. His scout is on the wheat tile.
This barb warrior has been helping me fogbust for at least 10 turns.
As long as he's there chasing my Tracker around, his axe-waving buddies won't show up.
Oath will grow into unhappiness this turn, then 3pop a settler.

And logged in to get a bonus shot.
Borsche's settler was in place when I played earlier, and he hadn't played yet.
My WB was just E, and was obviously going to get moved when he settled.
I got the good kick past the city, so I don't have to declare to get through.
I also rechecked demos. Land leader jumped in land (from 102k to 107k), which makes the leader either Borsche or AT, because they both settled this turn. Borsche has lost a couple cities, but he's creative, so it could be him despite AT's score advantage I guess.
And I realized I could hide my 2 archers and a worker from TBW by putting them back on the galleys (settler loaded this turn, so can't unload until next turn anyway).
Which means if I wait to play after TBW next turn, I can unload them all at once on 87, and settle on 88.
The fact I'm roading on his side of the water gives the game away somewhat anyway, but he'll have less idea of where I intend to settle.

T88 I settle Footfall.
T88 I 3-whip the Settler in Oath, getting 18 overflow into Maoi.
T89 Ivory is online.
T93 I settle Heorot with the Oath settler.
T95? I settle Inferno from Mote.
T97ish I settle Beowulf. Need to chop the trees into Maoi first, so likely delay.
Fallen needs to build a minimum of 3 WB for those cities. Need 3 more, but the new cities might build their own.
Mote will build trackers and settlers.
Oath builds Settlers and dumps overflow into Maoi.
Lucifer builds SoZ-powered defenders for everything.
Beowulf and Gripping need to make me some workers, help with trackers, or maybe just build cash.
Footfall will chop a Granary, whip Walls, and build a Barracks.
I want the 2 1-tile islands to my south. They'll never be worth a lot, but they are a warning net.
Clam-Copper island to my N-NE is better, plus the other 3 sites NE of Oath on my continent (but blocked, so also need galley to ferry units)
And of course the blob of actual land to my west.
Tech path after Currency is Masonry then MC. After that? Iron? Lit? CoL?

SoZ completed.
Footfall settled.
Didn't end turn, clients set their networks on fire, don't have time.

I see you're starting your naming with Niven / Pournelle collaborations. What are you going to do when you run out of those?
