I did this and it just gave me a context menu with a moveto option when I left-clicked the city. I feel like I'm missing something obvious

I think you need to right-click the target city, not left-click. EDIT: but don't let go of shift key, and make sure you hit the cancel button before letting go of shift or the GM will follow the go-to order when you release shift.

It happened that I was the last to play in PB46 and without knowing Rusten have settler party on the same island I intended to settle, I went ahead and settled a city in the new turn and just then I saw Rusten's settling party due to the culture of my new city.
Rusten, if you intended to settle on the FP this turn, I guess you have this right, as you played before me in the previous turn and we will have to reload.
Hey,
I'm in another turnsplit so I can't log in and see. I recommend doing a reload right away to avoid inconvenience.

Here's the situation:

Hmm, it is open to some interpretation. Personally I don't think you should guard against all possible double moves because it slows the game down. So if you don't know you're in a settler race playing a double turn is reasonable. Both of you seemed to agree to the reload however, which is why I just said yes initially.
I was not aware I am in a settler race for sure. But this matters at all only if Rusten intended to settle on the Flood Plain and this is why I asked if Rusten intended to settle on the FP.
What we do now after all?
Ok, I'm sorry I think I was too hasty with the reload. I don't think 2metra did anything wrong settling the city. The Pitboss Etiquette thread agrees:
Quote: Wrote:6. In a peace-time turn split (eg a settling or hut-popping race) the turn you realise there should be a split is when the order is established.

Since he wouldn't realise he was in a turn split with Rusten before settling the city, he had no reason to follow a turn order. So 2metra can play first and Rusten can play after.

That is the reload issue for lurker scrutiny.

I asked for the reload after Rusten's first message, since both seemed to agree to it and only 2 other people had played. On consideration I think I was too hasty and I've asked them to play the turn as it was originally played, with 2metra playing first and Rusten second.

Question: Dark Savant and Superdeath are posting conflicting information about their fish for fish deal. Who is right? Dark Savant says he accepted the deal but Superdeath shows a screencap where the deal is rejected.

Cant really screenshot a rejection. This is unless I'm mistaken just a screenshot of the current deals between the two.

Seems Elkad is going to really pour a ton of resources into defending a flatland city vs AGG rome, on THEIR island? Vs settling up on OHarry. Pindicator is also doing some questionable things like potentially pissing off AT by killing a workboat? Im liking OH's position more and more

Yeah.. i cant really see that plant being worth it to Elkad. Leaves him vulnerable to OH, and makes Rome an enemy.
