Spoilers- Superdeath prays that the RNG gods be kind.

Is the river attack penalty and the attacking off of ships both 25% penalty?

So no, attack from ships is -50%.

Interesting. Thanks!

On turn roll Accra got another skirmisher. I didnt "see" anything pop into the highlighted city. My highest odds currently are 9.9% with a c1,cr2 sword. However, that should be the lowest they go. and only versus fully fortified CG skirms. I will prepare to move my "main stack" south one tile to better intercept any reinforcements/maybe scare DS into garrisoning that corn/rice city to the south. My other stack that has most of my swords..... had a shitty surprise when i opened this turn up. I was truly not expecting to walk into a deserted city. Now, all of those units will be in the "true target" city. Sigh. Plus they killed my hero chariot.

As you can see, im not continuing to build units. If this attack fails ill obviously have to build a replacement stack to defend myself, but im hopeful that once that larger stack walks on down... i can get the city burnt and offer peace. I have NO CLUE if DS will accept it or not, once i settle the actual-best-dotmap city. I really wanted to cancel the fish-fish and probably would have prior to attacking had he not planted that city that i just burnt. Ive got 3T worth of whipping from DS to endure till my swords arrive. What are the chances he had a extra stack of units in the fog?

Not much to report, this is from the newest turn before i logged out because i forgot to take screenshots before rolling the turn. Grabbing alphabet because NO ONE BOTHERED TO RESEARCH IT.... and i dont want to give Rusten a favorable deal. Plus im looking to get 3move boats, and open borders is easier than declaring war and hoping they dont snipe it.

From "2t" ago, i  healed up and moved 1SW to block an incoming stack of Mali units. Also got a lucky 30% or so kill with my chariot to bring it upto 9xp

Any questions? His city SHOULD burn next turn and i will plant and offer peace. If he doesnt accept i guess i just make some more units and prepare for catapults?

Current Roll-Of-The-Turn state of affairs. DS i assume bought 2metra into the war as he PM'd me before 2metra even played stating i had to wait to be LAST to play. UGGGGGG.

Because of the silly way this mod works, i cant even offer a peace treaty to DS even after burning two cities. I thought you could offer a peace treaty in this mod after " a city exchanged hands " ?? Please tell me i dont have to keep the stupid things

SO anyway, i blocked 2metra's galley from getting any closer to any of my other cities with 2 of my own galleys ( if his galley is loaded with anything like swords, he can burn my west island city which would throw me into a bit of a temper ) I offered both of them cease-fires because ive achieved what i wanted here. Onward to teching CS-Machinery-beeline to guilds, bulb guilds, build knights.. But i suspect DS wont accept this limited war and will force me to tech construction and stuff to have catapult stacks. I blame him and his shitty city placement for this war /nod

I also blame TBS for giving me MALI as my neighbor while i chose bootylicious of america. Would have had no 2nd thoughts about building a large stack if it wasnt Mali tbh.

Is.... he nuts? CAN I NOT HAVE A LIMITED WAR FFS?

If i dont get peace with him, he has finished construction and is now researching machinery. Ill have no choice but to tech construction for cats, and HBR for a counter to crossbows. Damn it. I should have just whipped 30 swords and grabbed as much as possible.

Barb galley slammed into 2Metra's galley, im hoping he tries to go west/north instead of south to escape.. BUT i did give him an out:

He needs to take this, especially if DS is forcing my hand and making it nearly impossible for either of us to win this fucking game. Limited. War. Not. Possible. /check

How forever-war could be avoided:
Step 1: Dont plant cities in really dumb locations.
Step 2: Get open borders and place easy sentry units where our only border tension will be. ( by Bart and Accra )
Step 3: Accept that im in this for a limited war, as clearly i havent been streaming units over the border. Im not mass whipping... im STILL EXPANDING.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Attack Rusten, who magically has 30 cities.

My rant is done for the night, as ive got 3hrs of sleep to look forward to before work.  banghead

If there is anything i can help a lurker understand about this situation, or if they want to lend their thoughts to the matter... i promise to be open minded.

Just for self-reflection: how would *you* have reacted if someone razed two of your cities and then offered peace?

So first, how could DS know you meant what you said and not what I wrote there?  I changed each piece to be more negative, but not by a lot.

Second, I understand how this would help you win...how would it help DS have a chance to win?
