My southeast WB found more Rusten past Dark. Which means I can see Dark's culture, but none of his cities, so no resource trades still.

And that OH galley came from my EAST. So there is a coast-hopping route east from OH and then south to me, instead of following our shared continent.

Woke up stupid early (3am), so might as well log back in and stare at the map to give you guys some kind of report.
Settled Inferno (TBW's land) and Burning Mtn (copper oasis island to my NE)
HE at EoT
GL under construction in my cap.

Super declared on Dark (not news to most/all of you I'm sure).
Dark offered me 5gpt and Silk to declare on Super.
While I like the idea of free stuff, I'm in no position to help him.  Taking the money feels dishonest.  Declined.
Dark also fired a GA.  Which he is whipping away, but hey, every scrap of survival you can manage.

OH picked up those 2 chariots in my land, and shuttled them to my barb area beyond the mountains.  They are looking at 5 barbs warriors, so he'll get some XP.  And maybe the burn gold for the barb city.  Chariots vs hilled barb warriors isn't foolproof.  4 vs 3.5, 70%ish.

Time to push for Feud.
According to this thread, excess beakers keep the prereq bonus.  Unlike production, where it's backed out and then figured at the new bonus.
So I need to stack for that.
Priesthood.  Double prereqs, so I want overflow here going into Mono, which is only single.  Easy 1t, especially because I have 25 beakers in it already.  We burn cash and massively overresearch it, carrying the 1.4 multiplier into.
Mono.  Could be skipped, but I'll want OR at some point, and the prereq bonus on Monarchy (and 1t of double-prereq on Feud) makes it near free.  1t on overflow at 0%, pulling up scientists even, and still carries some of those Priesthood beakers into.
Monarchy.  2t.  But I'll take 3, aiming for 99% on T2.
On T3 I flood 100% research into Monarchy, with most of it overflowing into Feud at the 1.4 bonus.

Feud is currently 9t at parity on the hover.  I can probably shave 2t off that.  Another 1-2 if I really feel hurried and abandon GL construction for cash. (or if someone beats me and I get failgold)

I've got the Music Artist stashed, and a Scientist due in in 8t.
I'd LIKE to get a few turns in serfdom.. But needs may dictate I pull the same stunt as Dark.  Early GA to finish Feud faster, followed by whipping everything away for longbows.


In the runup Lucifer builds a couple MP archers, then starts punching out 1t spears (handy for poking wounded knights).  It'll actually start making a small amount of overflow gold fairly quickly due to overproduction.

Actually overfixed (you lost any multiplier at all). And then fixed to be correct (like production) in warlords 2.08?

Rusten whipped a bunch of times, is DS about to get squashed from both sides? I don't have graphs on either, so I can't watch for the spike.

HE completed. Couple mines transferred to capital to speed up GL.
Lucifer still makes 42 shields on troops. 2 axes first, it's a long walk/boat to the barb city though (7t). If OH gets good rolls, he'll get the gold.

Met GKC. He only knows Krill, TBW, and Pindi.

A barb galley showed up near my new island. My galley (just dropped off workers) will run, my WB will hide in the city in hopes it will keep going. If not, Mote will build a 2promo trireme to run it off.

Monarchy in 1, and I can put 2t in feud like this (of 5 needed at 100%)

OH dropped off 2 more chariots for the barb city. Total 4.
He also has yet another chariot in my land.
Barb city has 3 warriors in it. That's mighty thin for OH to kill them all (at 60%?)
I have an archer and tracker there. 2 axes on a boat that can attack on 128 (and if I take them to Shock, they'll be over 90%, even with the amphib penalty.)
I'm expecting the barb city to grow any turn now. +2 from clams, it founded EoT 113, so 125 was possible. maybe it's building a worker?
Borsche had a galley on the clams last turn, and I may have blocked it a turn or 3 as well. Not sure.
I wanted it to grow, but with OH's troops there first, now I don't.

Feud in 2 (with a LOT of wealth builds to sustain). Scientist EoT 127. Artist in my pocket.
I've built several more barracks. Cities nearest OH have some trees already chopped (hiding behind wealth builds)
Plan is to start a bunch of LB on 129, whip them in on 130, and then kick off the GA and revolt to Vassalage (and Monarchy+OR), for 3promo (plus protective) LB in various places. Even the non-barracks cities will have 5xp.

Spotted an OH HA as my scouts move around in his land.
He had something like 800 gold saved up on 125, and he's burning through it now. He already has feud, so it's likely guilds. 4 turns? 3?

TBW is pushing a settler for the last spot I wanted on his land (labeled Destiny) in the corner of his land. I thought about declaring to delay it (I have a g2 archer on a hill in his way). Delayed to do everything else on 126 and realized OH was burning gold, and spotted his HA, plus his barb-killing chariots, plus his multiple galleys dropping them off. Moved my archer away and gave up the spot.
(TBW could settle for the inland wheat first, but he can fill that later, so seems unlikely)

TBWs Iron city hit 40% 1t after Footfall did. I had just enough time to steal the hill tile back. I'm STILL building culture in Footfall, I don't want him to have that hill. It gets me another tile of visibility in case he has ideas
We are both putting 20+output (2nd ring for both of us) into the hill tile. Output in my case is currently +16, so 36.
I also stole the incense back, for visibility into his other city. That city can't beat my output for a long time, so I keep that tile for the foreseeable future.

On Borsche's continent, I found another barb city to his far north. And a Barb worker out. My Tracker can't do anything about that, but Borsche has an Immortal coming. I forget the placement of the hills, he might get a free worker.

GA plans. I still haven't decided if I should use the Artist and save 2 scientists for Astro, or use the scientist, and then crank out another scientist for a 2nd GA.

Oh, on 125 pindi played before me and declared on me to shove a WB through. That's why I couldn't play last night (so it could run from my galley according to turn order), so we got stuck with the delay for me to play tonight. He moved out of my culture on 126 and offered a ceasefire, which I took. So I could back-to-back 126 and 127.

This barb city continues to vex me.

I want it gone, I want the capture gold, and I especially don't want it to get to size2 and let OH capture it.

Shock Archer. 65%. Win!
Now my axes can go.
Axe1, 98%, flawless win.
Axe2, 98%. LOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So OH has 4 chariots looking at a 0.4 barb. He'll get the capture gold.
Guess I could have waited and played after him.

Kicked off the GA, used the Artist.

Spotted a couple Knights in OH land.
As expected, he burned my barb city.
I took a foolish/calculated risk and unloaded a settler and an axe on top of my wounded archer, with 4 OH chariots looking at them (one wounded). If wants to declare early, he'll probably kill them all.

Revolted to Monarchy, Feud, OR. Kept Slavery, not that I wanted to.
Whipped in some barracks.

Offered "stop trading with OH <> stop trading with OH" to Pindi
Asked several others to stop trading with OH, who knows.
Krill offered me Iron, gratis. Not useful now, but if I can get to Machinery it is. Accepted.

In furtherance of that goal, I asked..
Krill, 400g for 45gpt
GKC, 300g for 35gpt
Rusten, 300g for 35gpt.
All 50g profit margins, but as we all know, I could declare to break it early (not my intent at all), so who knows if any will accept.

I need 360gold to 3t machinery (plus whatever GPT is going out).
If multiples were to accept, I'd have some cash for construction. Or for upgrading some archers.
If nobody accepts, I need 3t of making cash first.
