BALL seems strong, as does TAG.
Last one could be DAY, SPOT, PASS... Think I favor DAY

BALL and TAG for sure. Third doesn't seem so obvious. I think playday means something. Is it like free time to do anything you want?

Dave, are you okay with us attempting Day next?

Play day just doesn't sound like a thing to me, but if I'm outvoted 3-1 I'll go with the majority. Have we considered the "theatrical production" definition of play? KING Lear, etc.?

With BALL and TAG being red, the theatrical definition of Play seems like a red herring to me.

Everyone is happy with DAY, so let's not hold the turn up any longer.

Propeller (unlimited)

So we have five words left.  An Unlimited clue means we need at least +2 from a previous word, so propeller is maximum three words.

First thought is that we need to actually guess PLANE.  Possibly also TAIL, as a possible location for said propeller on a plane.  Not jet.  Jet engines have turbofans which are kinda propeller-like, but if he wanted both aircraft he'd have clued something like, oh, aircraft wink.  Jet engines are typically considered an alternative to propeller engines, not a synonym.

We also need to push for all five.  El Grillo thinks that's at least possible, which is a good sign, but also Red team has only two words left so we need to push regardless.

My gut says we mostly want to be guessing words off our Teleportation list - we only got one out of five intended.  So I'd vote for something like:
PLANE
PASS
SPOT
ATLANTIS
TAIL

Very unsure about TAIL - it could be we're instead missing one more Teleportation word.  El Grillo might have meant it in terms of teleporting to a different PLANE of existence rather than just the metal bird definition of the word, or he might have meant something I haven't seen on the board yet.  I know both that propellers are occasionally found at planes' tails, and also that it's definitely not the most common design.  I don't see anything else for propeller, though, and I'm also struggling to see a fifth Teleportation word.

To be honest, I was expecting a clue like this. Here's why:

Normally, when you want to clue 9 words over 3 rounds, you distribute them 3/3/3 or 4/3/2. That's the easiest way to do it, without too much reaching. El Grillo chose to go 3/5/1. Why? Could it be we're dealing with a particularly difficult assassin?

All the pieces didn't fit together until I read Mardoc's spoiler:

I think JET is the assassin.

It explains so many of the moves this game. El Grillo clued BATTERY with Wailing. Superdeath clued HELICOPTER with Blade. And, in hindsight, Teleportation was intended to suggest PLANE without getting anywhere near JET!

Only we didn't see it! So El Grillo had to improvise with Propeller unlimited. This final clue does three things: reveals the one word not covered by Wailing/Teleportation (TAIL), reminds us that PLANE is a Teleportation word, and allows us to finish this round by guessing all the other Teleportation words we have consensus on (PASS/SPOT/ATLANTIS).

That means, in the end, I agree with Mardoc's list. I am much more confident about TAIL: Propeller has to clue the one word not covered by Wailing/Teleportation, and what else could it be? I am vaguely worried that LIFE (signs) might be a Teleportation word instead of one of the other three; what do you think?
