Could you take at least temporal control over Krillian empire? I think most of possible subs are pretty deeply spoiled or playing. But we might find some reasonably unspoiled lurker in future or maybe TBW would like to change civ and you could usher 2 slowly dying civs to their makers? But in the meantime could you play some reasonable turn for Krill to keep this thing going? And there is always possibility that your other games wind down soonish and you could end up having time for this and would want to keep going.
But if you play few turns and notice that you don't have time for this game that would still be better than current situation as it gives more time for finding permanent sub.

Ok. I'm at work now, but I'll be able to get to it in 6-7 hours. I haven't been reading threads since picking up Beardbeard's civ, so it might take a bit to familiarize myself. I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Krill's empire would be a bit more complicated to run than Beardbeard's.
