7th city with the furs not shown. I think I just whipped it for a worker, and it's going to grow back a bit while building some infra. Then, it'll be on worker duty for many many turns.
Culture is starting to become a problem for many cities, so libraries are the preferred choice here, since with the 35% off, they're basically like barracks, but more immediately useful and give 2x the culture. Cow city, after the library, which it will 2-pop whip, will become much better with a mine and riverside farm. It'll be building galleys for exploration afterwards.
Capital is going to be somewhat of a settler pump.
Tlaxcala is a poor settler pump, but it'll build this one with a chop and then another one before switching to a few exploratory galleys/triremes.
Tlateloco is around 8 turns for a settler, and it'll be pumping settlers for the south.
Calixawhatever looks like it has OK production. Need to get an altar there to preempt rising maintenance costs and then a lighthouse. It will not be building settlers. Maybe 1-2 workers, but we need some military cities, even without opponents showing faces.
Hochicalco needs a granary+lighthouse, and then it can pump island settlers.
Demos:
Population is rising and this is very good. CY is still in the drain, but it can and will catch up as new cities emerge.
The two techs i am sure need to be done asap. The rest is still in flux. I am tempted to do optics and start exploration in earnest, but going for bureaucracy is probably the right choice.

Basically, got a city burned by Pindi being pesky. Krill is being expansionistic and forced me to do some really untimely whips. I think due to both of their aggression, real or implied, I've lost 15 pop. Hopign to expand north to a small continent I found. Trying to keep the peace with Adler, but the goal now is to beeline paper and make myself look prickly.
Techwise, I have a bunch, 1 turn away from machinery, GNP is more or less solid, even if I am #10 in CY and MFG.
Goal is to pump out a great person sooner rather than later. Wonders are a foregone conclusion, but perhaps I can land sistene and absolutely limp my way to a culture victory by locking out opponents seeing demos on me and not fully realizing what is going on till it is too late.
Biggest question is what to do about a superior opponent like Krill. TBW is totally behind in every parameter, so I have no clue what to do in this regard.
Please give requests for pictures that you want. I'll try to do those this week, possibly Wednesday.

300 hammers lost to pind at this point.
This has just not been my game.
Biggest takeaways -
find someone to do the early pick phase for me lol. Maybe go for something more noob-friendly
dont be afraid to settle far - getting crappy cities fast and close is worse than getting good cities but taking a bit of time.
realpolitik - don't assume any sort of pacts are going to hold whatsoever.
Things out of my control -
I still think my starting area was a bit subpar, especially compared to nearby options that I settled later
Horribly weak TBW. This is like pb44 all over again with a crippled chumchu.
Things still in my favor
op promoted crossbows and a few pieks can stop kirll

pindi is sending an invasion fleet. Will pop-rush triremes. Made the right move by not settling on the island, would've lost to those pesky horse archers.
However, with Krill out and TBW in, could I pull a sacrificial altar driven invasion? My GNP is still one of the leading ones, and I can afford to take a hit. Maybe peace with pindi is an out.

I don't think TBW knows what's going on yet. His cities are totally unprotected, and I am militarizing rapidly (last wave of infra). With caravels, I can land along all major coastal cities, burning maybe 6-7 on the first turn? Maybe it would even make sense to keep some, have them come out of anarchy and whip them into oblivion.
I am afraid an action like this might permanently swing the game in the favor of OH/Rusten, but also, I want my fun. Given my exceedingly low maintenance costs, I can afford to build up an army as big as I want, constrained only by the shit that is my land and my CY.

Something I'm thinking about (age old question really): what can I "allow" myself to do from a meta-game perspective? Invading TBW/Krill would mean an obvious benefit to whoever's pummeling old TBW/nauf's second sub civ. I think unless I can prove to myself that I am genuinely going to increase my security and miniscule chance of winning, I should just turtle.
Speaking of turtling, I don't think anyone has my graphs. This could be prime territory for going for culture somehow, but I do not have the religion or GPP to back that up.
Hopefully, a new PB starts up soon as well.

Harbors have become pretty much essential. Need to start producing nav 2 caravels to be able to take on TBW. TBW has a few knights in waiting behind his city, he's probably picked up the scent of my attack.
Still, a few more islands to settle to my south and southeast.

Waiting on a great prophet to pop a golden age and convert religions + go into bureaucracy/hereditary rule
