Argh. Not the clue I was hoping for... too many options.

The Three little BEARs... APPLE. KING. Even ATLANTIS? After reading spoilers. I can see NAIL or SPIKE too. Makes it even harder.

So. Probably have to look at this backwards. Not sure if even that helps.

Suppose it is APPLE and KING. How to clue them? I find nothing else than fairytale to connect them.

How about BEAR and KING? Well, that could be clued as forest 2 as BEAR is the KING of forest.

Then BEAR and APPLE. I can't think of anything to clue them.

I can't really decide. I like APPLE the most probably and then KING.

I lean toward King, but could see either.


My preference is based on two grounds:

* Like Auro, I have little idea how to clue Apple + King better than what we have (Wealthy? Developer?), whereas there's at least a few plausible alternatives for Bear + Apple (Woods, Honey, Market, Cereal,)

* There's more fairytales with Kings than Bears.

Don't know what the 1st clue is, and don't get how KING connects to Pie personally.
