Gotta keep expanding; this is the other reason I didn't opt for the 11 horse archers. There's a ton of island towards Old Hitru, and boy howdy do they need containment.

Five more peaceful cities, and then we're settling on land claimed by Hitru. Maybe we should have take the HA and sent them westward.

FACT SEVEN: NEW ZEALAND HAS STUPID OWLS.

It should be noted that the closely related Aussie version of this blithering idiot owl is called a "boobook" so either the Oz volk are booze-deaf or the New Zealanders are complete and utter pussies who have never in their lives heard the virile demand of "MORE PORK, WOMAN". Morons. Also that owl has the IQ of a garden snail, look at his face.

What does it mean when you fire a golden age and you are still in not in first place both in MFG and in GNP? I think it means that we're in a hilariously epic-sized duel, between Rusten and Hitru. My city count is pathetic, but I think it's somewhat above average for the game, so that's ridiculous.

RBmod bylaws require I show you both my Moai and my capital during this golden age. Fortunately, I can do both at once.


The future cottage center of the empire I'll also preview, Gisborne is a phenomenal city on the river, growing a very nice and healthy crop of cottages. It's also a border city, because I'm pants-on-head retarded.


I suck and I mostly stopped expanding because...reasons. I would be cheerful about Gavagai's lack of strategic depth, but Beardbeard...kind of sucks. I don't think he'll make it to landsknechts before Gavagai gets knights, so basically this is all a picture of Greater Germany.


The only direction I can still expand is west, over the 1-tile ocean culture bridge. This three city island has a ton of food, and leads to other excellent islands...

Leaving the land doesn't stop the durp. Dumbo Octopus aren't just kiwi wildlife, but the durpiest versions of these morons? Yup. There's a reason Cuthulu is sticking to dreaming in R'y'leh. It's these, he's embarassed to be seen in the same epoch of this thing.

As the Great PBSpy Leak showed, Gavagai's gonna go berserk on some poor fool. I dunno if we're the poor fool; have the strategic depth (HUGE) and tech (longbows, crossbows) to not die to Gav, but if he wants to completely wreck both of our games...

Hopefully, he opts instead to eat beardbeard of the Hindu Shrine.

We're in a solid, if distant, third place right now. CY #3 and MFG #3 are two different people, if I read it right.

Krill is probably the only quantity on these fora more known than me (ref. post count), so I won’t belabour the point. He’s good, but gets bored and doesn’t finish well. Joey is also this. I like Hannibal a lot here, honestly, charismatic promotions are flashy and all but the sheer happy cap joy of that +2 is the real kicker, I think. I like financial for a water map, natch, too. The critique I have of England is the same I’ve always had…the game is won or lost at the point that her Special Stuff comes online.
Way he could upset and win: If this somewhat random script gifts Krill a starting region with a lot of food (temperate) and he manages to get the psychologically bolstering combination of a food neighbor *and* a decently-challenging-but-not-too-challenging neighbor, Krill could stay engaged emotionally for long enough to exploit his authorship of the mod into a winning position. England still won’t matter.
