Also well done SD. Did we luck out DAY or was it intended play word?

It was intended. I had Blade down for Knife/Switch/Helicopter.. Play down for Tag/Ball/day.. Fairytale down for Apple/king.
I was hopeful that we could do it in 3 rounds, with 4 at the max incase Atlantis was picked for Fairytale. Play-day was the intended connection. So very glad you guys played it out how you did. I was slightly nervous when Blue team kept cluing for a ton, but thankfully JET and PLANE are a bit of a b-ch to clue without each other.

In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Interesting, I thought you were cluing Apple Play as in the iPhone service, and then intended on Coronation 2 for KING+DAY. And that's with the benefit of knowing the board!
Did you play any of the recent Throne of Eldraine set of Magic, superdeath? The Fairytale clue instantly made me think of it.
I'm happy to step aside next round or try again, it could either be more punishment or a chance of redemption

I dont play standard, so unless the card was added to one of my Commander decks... i havent. I thought of fairytale as one of my first clues actually, to specifically get Apple ( snow white ) and King.

Nobody else commented on this: Azoth brilliantly figured out the assassin. Amazingly done.

It explains so many of the moves this game. El Grillo clued BATTERY with Wailing. Superdeath clued HELICOPTER with Blade. And, in hindsight, Teleportation was intended to suggest PLANE without getting anywhere near JET!

I was meaning to ask about that, actually: what would have been the connection between BATTERY and JET that El Grillo had to try to avoid? I can't see one.
Btw, happy to guess again this round.

FYI, I checked in with Pindicator and he'll give us the next board 'after work'. Not sure what time zone he's in, but no need for anyone else to fill up his inbox.
