Grass, Head, and Pipe for sure, in that order.

I don't see any other obvious drug-related words on the board, so the last one may have to do with plants in general. Unless "Dog weed" is a thing.

I prefer Field- few if any weeds have Bark, and most Roses aren't considered weeds (Chinese White Rose is, but that's kind of obscure).

Oh, or it could be Dragon, as in "Puff the Magic Dragon". Field is probably gray at worst, so I'd still pick it first.

Cute clue, probably means both marijuana and unwanted wild plants.
From the first sense, PIPE and PAPER. Probably GRASS as well.
For the second, I'm pretty sure both DOGweed is a plant. Maybe HAWKweed and JACKweed, too?
When I was a kid, there was a plant we called QUEEN Anne's Lace, which I think is actually ragweed.
There is a wild ROSE plant that's a really obstinate weed, called multiflora rose I think?
Weeds grow in a FIELD.

I think there has to be at least one non-marijuana word, since he didn't just clue marijuana.
Pre spoilers, I'd say PIPE, PAPER, GRASS, DOG.

After reading Bob's spoiler: I completely missed HEAD. Now I'm confused.
I'll be offline for the next 5-6 hours, but will check in after that.

Id go with Pipe-Grass-Paper. Then decide on Dog, or something else.

I have NO clue how Head connects with weed other than thats what some people trade for it..

GRASS, PIPE seem best. After that I'm a bit lost. After reading spoilers I don't understand either HEAD or DOG. I think I like PAPER as 3rd but not very certain on that.

Dog-weed is a very very common weed. I still dont get the head reference other than the sexual favors..

I actually have no idea what a "head" is as relates to marijuana, only that it's def. old stoner lingo. Heard it used plenty of times before, but I cannot recall the context.

I must confess, I don't really get Paper as an option... I guess the connection is rolling your own blunts?

its a huge connection to rolling your own blunts. Its probably the #1 reason stores sell papers.

A pot head is (was) a frequent user, with the implication of some loss of intellect. Cheech and Chong, if you've ever heard of them. Pot heads would roll joints with paper and smoke them down to the very end by using an alligator clip to hold the hot joint. Stores that sold marijuana supplies were called head shops.

Maybe WarriorKnight never considered the second (first) meaning for weed, and meant to clue four marijuana words? Another possibility: my grandma used to say that a weed is a plant out of place when I helped her pull grass out of her flower bed. I.e., grass can be a weed in certain contexts.

We seem to be unanimous on these two at least:

Point to GRASS
Point to PIPE
