5 for a first clue. Interesting...

WHALE, BEACH and ICE are obvious
POOL and PARK for the other two
Maybe KIWI because it's an island, but definitely not before the first 5 on my list.

Pre-spoiler:
POOL, BEACH, PARK, WHALE, BUFFALO

Post-spoiler:
Hmm, I didn't notice ICE. I guess I'd put that ahead of BUFFALO, which appears in a silly song from VeggieTales (Everybody's got a water buffalo/Yours is fast but mine is slow/Everybody's got a water buffaloooooo).

BUFFALO is good too, I think we should point to that as well because water buffalo is a thing and it's also a tough word to clue otherwise.

I think we just have to choose an order and hope whatever isn't ours is grey and hopefully one of our later choices.

Prior to looking at spoilers:

* Whale
* Pool
* Beach
* Ice
* Buffalo

Brilliant if all of these work.  Chance SD has never heard of a water buffalo and instead wanted Wind for a reference to the classical elements.

Post spoilers: I still favor my picks, in the order listed, although Park is fine too (I had forgotten water parks were a thing)

Whale, pool, ice, beach and buffalo as last one. Or then park. But I favour buffalo.

Taking everyone's average we get:

Point to WHALE
Point to POOL
Point to BEACH
Point to ICE

There's a bit of a question between BUFFALO v PARK, but let's see if we get that far first.

WHALE is red.
POOL is red.
BEACH is red.
ICE is red.

Going off the team having a (slight) lean towards BUFFALO, let's keep the game moving with PARK as the +1 if needed.

Point to BUFFALO
Pass

A footman is a servant, but I'm not actually sure exactly what their responsibiities traditionally were.

Looking after the master's muddy BOOTs? (I thought that would be beneath a footman actually)
Helping the master get his TIE correct? (More of a Valet thing) Also, BOOT + TIE could have been clued as "Laces" or "Clothing".
Driving the coach, using a WHIP? (More of the Coachman's job)

I also wonder if the intention is to clue SOLDIER + BOOT, but Infantry would have been better for that (although risking BUGLE).

I definitely like BOOT, then I think WHIP. The second does feel a bit weak though.

It may have looked easy, but that is because it was done correctly - Brian Moore
