Superdeath wants me to declare war on 2metra which is totally insane. 2metras powercharts have been going crazy while his score flatlines. What the fuck is going on war wise between the two? I get Feudalism next turn + I have a decent stack of HAs ready in case he starts any shit, but I also don't think any cities have changed hands and neither are on the same damn continent. I'm not sure what 2metra is doing other than stacking units. I'm going to make moves towards Guilds and just try to build up a stack to slam into one of his border cities and see what happens since I'm basically out of space. I might need a second stack since I'm not sure what he's doing with his crap.
As an aside to lacking information - spies, and the whole espionage system should be thrown out the window. That includes the charts. That's way too much information for MP. Might keep the spy unit, but also my experience with it is that it gets discovered within like a turn of going into foreign lands so it feels like a waste anyway.
I will probably not post screenshots tomorrow, but I will do so if I remember. I have no played a good game at all, I have nowhere near the amount of workers I should have and my cities have basically suffered as a result. It took forever to hook up happy, and I didn't go religion/monarchy so all my cities were happy locked for awhile. Not a lot of commerce to work so not great research for the same period. Even now as my cities slowly start to grow out, they don't have great tiles to move onto. Some of that I can blame on the land - I didn't get a lot of food resources; but also I'm used to the badgame pitbosses where we get pretty luscious starts. I have like 4 seafood resources that are one tile out of reachable range (or, if I can reach them, they would require I settle on another food resource) and that kind of shit makes me roll my eyes, but with like 15 players (or however many), and the only people willing to eyeball the map just sort of once it over, that's just going to happen and I'm sure everyone else is dealing with it too.
Though it is annoying 2metra and I are in eachother's faces and Rusten gets basically unfettered access to the entire southern continent because he has to focus on me/superdeath (I still have no idea what the fuck is going on with that war).
Still, I want to thank the mapmaker for the map. I'm only complaining cause I've been staring at it for 5 months, and I know how annoying it is to throw a map out there.
