Jeez I hope you're ready to get busy Seravy lol! I'm seeing bugs getting posted about the patched vanilla MoM and CoM in the steam and gog forums.

Although some of them are client issues presumably Slitherine will have to sort out.

oh so basically I have to pay $5 to be able to post comments on my own game yeah right. Glad to see Slitherine is responding to bug reports though. The create artifact crash is likely real, I had to restore that button because Insecticide removed it.

All I can say is gross.... this isn't some real dlc with bug fixes and some new content, this is virtually a complete remake of the base game.... I'll be demanding my money back as it isn't what was advertised/expected...

I did tell them they should not call it a DLC but a MOD a few days before the release, oh well. Now people are complaining they got something better than advertised.

Dont worry. There is always a % of people who will complain, just because they can. If there is multiple of hostile comments, its mean that there is a big audience.

Yeah Steam is a real mixed bag and there's always someone who'll "spit their dummy out of the pram" over the slightest thing. There will always be a certain percentage of negative comments.

Well that's weird!! I don't own MoM on Steam or GoG yet and as you've probably seen I'm commenting on both of their forums! I comment on steam and gog forums for quite a few games I don't own (their) copy of and it's never stopped me.

Also this is a bit evil.. need more info but it sounds like GoG cleverly removed this guys old copy of CoM without warning. He's pissed and rightly so lol.

I can only guess that he was using old CoM with a GoG copy of MoM and they did a update on it which might have refreshed the files? so maybe not a deliberate targeted deletion. But yeah.. I dunno.. replacing files is one thing.. but deleting other files.. that seems pretty suspicious.

EDIT: oh god.. he's even on steam too telling people not to buy CoM.. I've called him out though. See how people and slitherine staff act now that they know he's on both sites actively campaigning against people buying it because he doesn't like the content.

Yeah its how galaxy handles updates, it doesnt just replace updated files it clears the directory then downloads the update and installs it I think only in the case of DOSBOX powered games it doesnt wipe out the cloud saves dir but its been like that since Galaxy launched, now reportedly a future version of Galaxy 2.0 will no longer do this but for now it still does, it was not intentional, he should be directed to raise the issue with support.
