Okay, we have two Deposit words left and up to two Echolocation words.

Deposit nominees are Stock, Sink, Trunk, Car, and Press.

I don't want to guess Car since it's a potential word for multiple red clues, and Lewwyn didn't seem to have much confidence in Press. For the other three I like Stock > Trunk > Sink - the Stock-Finance connection is direct and one physically deposits things in Trunks.

For Echolocation Air is my top word.

I think I favor Air and Stock in that order next.

Pump 2

Sheesh, this game has had more missed guesses than any other I can remember.

Heart for sure, which must also be a Cell word.

Maybe Ketchup after that? You can pump it out of a container. Or Car, because you pump gas. Although "Engine (2)" would work better for Car + Heart, whereas Ketchup is notoriously difficult to clue... although Red (2) would work. Bah. But, wait, Car also works for Assembly.

This will be easier if I break down what we've recieved so far:

Continental (3): We've cleared this with Antarctica, Australia, and Plate.

Cell (2): Heart must be the missing Cell word, and is one of the Pump words. We already got Tower, so nothing more for it.

Assembly (3): We got Line, and are missing two words. One overlaps with Pump, presumably Car, while the other doesn't but we've already suggested it, or pja would have clued something else. Must be Press then, right? That's the other word we were also considering. Although Press also works with Pump! FFS. WTF are the spymasters thinking?

The HEART pumps blood and you pump gas for a CAR. Those two seem clear enough to me. I like PRESS for the missing Assembly word.

I can agree with Heart, as pumping blood is quite obvious. Ketchup i just cant justify guessing it... as you stated yourself RED (2) would have been a no-brainer clue imo. I agree with heart being the missing cell word, just wish i had seen that connection earlier.
Im not seeing how press works for pump, but it IS the missing Assembly word ( along with CAR ) ... right? RIGHT?

Easy finish. HEART-CAR-PRESS. Azoth, i think you get the go ahead to point to those unless you have strong objections
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

And I think I would have backed pretty much every one, for either team. Sometimes this game is hard shakehead .
