Might as well use the new feature if it’s already incorporated

Alright, I will start the server in a few minutes. PBSpy: http://civ.zulan.net/pbspy/game/91/ Server Url: pb.zulan.net:2049 Please note that the Mod name in this PB will be RtR_BugBeta_0.10. Moreover, I've changed one file after Charriu's latest post. Download the mod here. If someone need installation instructions, please ask here. For now I assume everyone know how it works. Thanks Ramk. Could we get this copied to the first post please?
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
I'm having some problems. Is this familiar to anyone when trying to join the game:
I'm using the same computer as always with Civ, have the Mod in same place as others etc. Does the bug or the zulan server require some additional actions?
@Fintourist, runtime error occurred for JR4 at beginning of PB43 and it turned out to be a nested mod folder issue:

An error message said something about a "runtime error" which I`ve never seen before.
Thanks, it was exactly that. Sorry typed too fast.
Did I block you Commodore? Based on PBSpy I'm interpreting that there might a tool I'm missing (Again, I should have proper settings that allowed matching in previous PBs in place) (April 8th, 2020, 15:11)Fintourist Wrote: Did I block you Commodore? Based on PBSpy I'm interpreting that there might a tool I'm missing (Again, I should have proper settings that allowed matching in previous PBs in place) Yes, two things are 'new' nowadays. 1. Use the linked Civ4BeyondSword2015.exe instead of Civ4BeyondSword.exe . Then, you do not block anymore (Edit: If the port forwarding for Civ4 on 2056-206X works as expected…). Copy it into the 'Beyond the Sword'-folder with the original executable. 2. (Optional) Extract the BTS_Wrapper-Zip content (here, a executable and few DLLs are included) the same folder and start your game with BTS_Wrapper.exe instead of Civ4BeyondSword2015.exe This speed up the loading of saves on Zulans server. |
