I want to post screenshots for this turn. I really REALLY do. But all they are going to be is me bitching about more combat odds and combat RNG. Id kill to win a 20% battle just once out of like 10 tries. Id kill for someone to lose an 80% fight like i would. Id love for someone to not be building transports/ships when DZ is basically not a threat to anyone anymore. I would LOVE to have known just how great airships apparently are. How they have no counter. How a 4str unit can ( without taking any damage itself ) deal damage to a 40str/ect unit 8 tiles away.
TLDR, JR4 is building transports/ships to raze/LOL CAPTURE? Donovan's cities on their little coast. Ive lost nearly every single fight ive tried recently, and Airships are OP for a emperor game with tech costs that prevent anyone from winning via anything other than Culture or concession. I concede to Mr.Cairo at this time because of the lack of Wetbandit/JR4 help with stopping this CV ( which will be done in 15t at the most ).
To those wondering why i dont attack first. Mr.Cairo has 90+ defenders in Vanillaisis right now. Has a shitload of airships which are unstoppable ( so he can drop my battleships down in str enough that frigates probably get odds ) and i dont have anything other than transports/ships + tanks for attackers. I cannot launch a land based invasion. I need those units to be drawn away by an invading army. Both JR4 and Wetbandit have the stack available to survive/require MC to draw units away or at least hit them with EVERYTHING he has.
If someone after this explanation still wants to see a boatload of screenshots let me know but imma go drink something strong.

Sorry it seems that everything is an uphill battle right now. Airships are strong, but for a sliver of a silver lining: they can never damage any unit more than 20%. They're important in naval combat because base unit strength is more important than in land combat, but they won't give somebody a whole tech era advantage.
Airships are op/too strong ( at least in this mod/on emp ) no one will change my mind on it. Especially because it looks like destroyers when they intercept cant even kill the little buggers? Wack.

First off, Mr.Cairo wins in less than 15t. Wetbandit and JR4 maybe done REALIZE THIS? Or something. I guess they can be hesitant to attack first, but someone has to.. and it kinda has to be one of them. I cant do shit in my position if Cairo is just looking my way. How much easier would it be to plan a naval invasion if Mr.Cairo had to move his 90+ units out of one city, and 40+ out of an other city? Exactly. Mr.Cairo, please dont take any of my comments to heart, you played an excellent game and i really wish i had known how vastly op Airships are when we tech at such a slow pace. I probably would have built some.. But silly me, i thought they were basically just for recon and not for pinging stuff down. Sigh.
He has 2 GA's right now. This city can hit Legendary very very quickly with Culture slider turned on.
This city can squeeze out another GA in about.. 8t? After going LEGENDARY of course.
Sistine city. On flat land. Stuff with an equal navy compared to my own, and as many units as im fielding on transports. If nothing changes, will produce its own GA in 15t, speeding it along to victory by that turn if nothing else..
This picture alone has me nearly wanting to unload all of my transports and raze some cities of JR4's. WORRY ABOUT DZ/expansion AFTER KILLING MC's CHANCES FFS!!!!!!!!
Mr.Cairo killed my mini stack i had here to take down the defenses of YeeHawdists..so i guess JR4 Didnt notice the damaged units/ couldnt notice my stack there anyway. Still has open borders with him, and is receiving 200gpt ( ONLY 200GPT ) as payment for staying out of Mr.Cairos territory.
60+ tanks and all that stuff in a border city. Are they waiting for like 5t away from MC winning to attack? Are they conceding the victory to MC ( in which case DZ doesnt get a vote.. ) In which case.... we end this farce right?

btw, DZ has used like 4 GG's on super-units ( which i generally consider a waste ) and still has 2 more just sitting around.
Other stuff:
Ive taken a bit of a hit, and have to swap several cities to naval production to prevent my entire mini-sea from being pillaged.. UGG.
Trying to sneak some transports around with minimum defenses to a spot where i can maybe raze Mr.Cairo's MOAI city for some "hey, i razed another city... Maybe you should join in! " But im doubtful even that would get these guys to realize we are about to lose this pitboss that has been running for a long long time. How shitty is it to waste over a year on a game, just for 2 players to not help themselves, nor you, and just let someone else win? Ill continue to ask myself these questions until the heat death of the universe.
Again, feel free to ask any questions you may. And players... When/if you read this: I mean about 50% of the words i say in this entire thread. Its upto you to find out which ones.

Then we all lose? I dont have any firepower vs Mr.Cairo in the time it will take for him to win this pitboss. I literally cannot do a thing other than waste all my units and just promote his at this point. MC is showing the absolute danger of being too passive in this game. ( referring to JR4 mostly, but Wetbandit too if he doesnt go in very very soon. )
Truthfully at this point, even if we ALL attack MC.. and somehow raze a legendary city, im not likely to win compared to JR4's position or Wetbandits tech/industrial might. If we dont lose to MC i basically get to play kingmaker. Super fun. Just wish we could at times like these just be able to send a diplo message like " Hey, Why in the Fuck are you invading DZ when MC is about to win? Are you that unsure of your own chances of victory? ( JR4 is the tech leader right now as he has flight ffs ) "
I honestly cant tell if its lack of fucks given/wanting this pb to be done, or if they dont know how soon MC is going to win. Its driving me to drink every-time i play my turn. I hope my rants havent caused you lurkers to eat too much

How much you wanna bet that DZ is doing something mildly annoying and has grabbed every last drop of units he has... and is bringing them into MC's culture to then slam into Wetbandits stack? Thats my best guess on why his turn is taking longer than usual..
