He also didn't replay to any of my PMs. He also never contacted me about quitting RtR or RB at all, in fact I even developed some stuff he asked me about during his absence.
FWIW, I think he's a doctor in the UK (I'm sure it's something medical, I think doctor) so I'm not surprised that he is suddenly busy. Don't assume he's gone forever quite yet.
I think with this information we can agree to wait (and also wish Krill all the best). Nonetheless I would like to keep this thread open a little longer, because I think the poll can be valuable for Krill when he returns. So I would invite everybody to participate in it. Maybe I will promote it in the according PBs tech threads to get a bigger spectrum of active players.

Ah - thanks for the correction on RtR Wonder failgold, T-hawk! I wasn't aware that was how it was done. Still an excellent solution, it seems to me!
Though, like the rest of this, that's secondary to:

Voted 46+.
Like others, I have issues with some specific changes (NA UU isn't one of them, the new Tracker is great).
But I want to see this continue moving forward. In general, the game is improving (from a MP balance standpoint).
We made changes for 49 that I like (at least in theory, we aren't that far into the game yet).
I'd like to see a restricted/reworked form of the EP game returned, we had some discussion on that in the 49 setup thread.
BUG is great.
Various other things.

My vote for 46+ isn't really because I think it's necessarily the right path, but I'd like to play around a bit more with the radical changes before spinning off another major revision.

Very mixed emotions. The dullness of naval combat needed goosing, circumnavigation being national is brilliant, and I love terrain mattering, but...stuff in general moves too fast.

I hope to have an opportunity for extensive testing soon, declared war on Pindicator in PB46 for this purpose.

I fear that the effect of naval changes would turn out very much map-dependent. In PB46 we have a huge amount of coastal tiles, I suspect that naval combat would work differently in a setting with fewer coastal connections.
