Nice...and congrats on moving to the next round thumbsup.

The last round was a panel interview with a bunch of teachers from the school - people I'd worked with for years, mind.

These assholes asked me questions like, "Can you tell me about a time that you were able to work as part of a team...?" when I'd literally been in her classroom every day for like three years coteaching. x_x hilarious.

For the record, I got the job.

Congratulations, CMF!! From what you've posted, it seems like you've had a fascinating and rewarding time abroad, in spite of the things that led you to decide to return. I hope you have a smooth transition and great times back in the States!

(And try not to hold it against colleagues for asking Approved Interview Questions that they probably didn't think any more of than you do!)

Regrettably, the little cat did not make it through the day.

I wrote about it here.

You are a gifted writer, Chevalier. Between this post and your writings on the 2015 Kansas City Royals, you've consistently been able to open up a window on your own life and share those experiences with total strangers on the Internet. That's a real gift and I hope you keep it in mind as you move on to the next stage of your professional career. Also consider putting a link to your blog in your forum signature here - your posts deserve to be shared with a wider audience and a lot of the folks here would enjoy reading them. [Image: smile.gif]

Well, thursday night i had my xbox 1 S and 2 controllers stolen along with all my whiskey out of my fridge by an ex roommate who had a key. Not enough evidence to prove that they did it of course, and i dont have the serial number of course... so im SOL from watching netflix/hulu/disney + on a t.v. + having a place for dvd's to play.

The fact that it wasnt a forced entry, and only 1 person has a key to my house other than myself... Should be an open and shut case. frown

File a police report ASAP, change your locks, and kick any remaining freeloaders out of your home.
