My #1 neighbor choice.. Commodore you have out done yourself. Officially cleared of any and all wrong doing.
The only player that didnt settle in place. Elizabeth of Korea. So, the slowest start. + Moved off of their plains hill. ( i "hope" onto another, or this will be too easy ) Which means that they will get their border pop EOT, which will officially give contact. Im almost thinking of deleting the scout lol. At the very least i need to play before him to ensure he at least doesnt know the direction i come from for awhile. He was originally 10 tiles away, but is now 12. Should i expect my other neighbor(s) to be roughly 10 tiles away to the north? Ill assume so.
My own border pop revealed.... some more lakes for a future MOAI. Looking based on the placement of the jungle, im roughly just south of the middle of the "donut" Whether im west, or east will be found out in time.
a VERY small part of me wanted to sit on his resources, but we also agreed to a no war till t26. Plus it would make me feel like a bit of a jerk. I want this guy to grow into a delicious hamburger, not slaughtered as veal.

In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Got capital visibility. Not that i can really tell when most buildings are actually built... BUT, at least now ill see it on the top 5 cities/ect.

You'l love the ones i did for you when you are my opponent then
Damn, so i gotta just avoid unlocking maces then.. Thats all good. I should win this around knights anyway. Providing my neighbor makes plenty of good city choices, ill have plenty to add to my empire once currency hits.

Would love for a 3rd/4th city to be planted at the "forward city" sign. But id also love for Mjmd to settle there instead, and just cheaply take it with an early-ish iron working. Maybe t50 praets?
Hmm.. Bronze working- Wheel- pottery- Iron Working? Might need to put AH in there incase a potential 2nd/3rd city dont have enough food without say cows/pigs.
Could also swap Wheel and Pottery around to get my cheap granaries up quicker for easy whips providing i dont need to hook up Copper nearly as fast. Might sim it all out once copper pops. Getting to Mjmd pre-iron working would be "fun" but not ideal i dont think. Maybe an early war to plant a couple axes on his copper to prevent counter-axes? Hmm. Going to need to know who my northern/ect neighbors are. If its someone like ZULU ill have to post sentries.
Scout will continue dodging bears and heading northward to uncover those covered tiles. A fish SW of the "City?" sign to the west of the capital would be amazing.
Really hoping to see some 6 yield food tiles in between my capital and his. All these plains are making me sad.

God. Damn. Bears.
If ive done my math right, and i basically flunked math during school... its roughly 50/50 if this bear kills my scout who has a forested hill to defend on? Lovely.

Fuck me. Fuck You RNG. Not even a single hit on that bear... well at least it will help guard against any Mjmd crap for now..
Maybe my bad RNG is over, and i can get some easy c1 axe vs archer fights... Im going to likely sim out what will be more profitable, settling 4ish cities and then having praets vs whatever Mjmd has, or settling for copper and just sending a couple axes over.. Probably the first one unless i see him not settle for copper right away. C1 Cover axes vs archers on hills are what... 20% chance of killing? Anyone got a link to a good combat sim i can sticky? <3

Zulans Vodka is very good, I thought it would be known around here: http://zulan.net/civ/vodka/
So 21% against 20% culture city on a hill fully fortified. Two axes would be 83%

It probably is known around here, or another combat calculator.. but i basically never use them..
First in food! Probably wont stay that way once others with slower workers get their riverside floodplains corn's farmed.. But im hopeful to use what knowledge ive gained recently to keep a good lead in at least one of the top 3 categories.

Still tied for first in food. Amicalola Also gained some score points when the turn rolled so ill assume he is also at size 2 with some agriculture (rice?) finished as well.
I think this is my desired tech path. MAY swap in mysticism for border pops if need be... but finish warrior-partial warrior-chop out another worker and then use both to chop out a settler or two. Settle for copper? Eh, not a priority. But, if it looks like i could get an easy snipe i just might. Goal is explode out to 3-4 cities popping down granaries/cottages and finding iron. Get myself a nice stack of 4-5 praets and go say hello. I "should" be able to kill Mjmd before he gets anywhere close to catapults. Unless he has like 4 riverside gold mines in which case... GG.
Almost done dotmapping. ill probably refine this once i see where copper/iron is along with where my neighbor settles.
