I took a closer look at the wider areas over the weekend and made numerous changes to the food resource types/placement. For the most part I kept quality/quantity the same, just shifting things by a tile or two to give more consistent options for 2nd/3rd cities. I took another quick look while editing the leaders/civs into the map but didn't change anything from where I had left it over the weekend. There are some food poor areas between players but I don't think that is an issue. If anything the starting areas are still more lush than the typical random map. The center in general is a jungle wasteland that will take some time and effort to hack down. I was looking through the threads and TBW has completely missed what Raskolnikov is doing with his 2nd city, which is put it on stone and build stonehenge.
That will be a hell of a city, assuming he gets henge, btw. 3 hammer middle, pigs, copper grass hill, marble - I dunno - if I were him I might settle one more city and build a stack. or, I guess, build mids.
Completed: PBEM 34g (W), 36 , 35 , 5o, 34s, 5p, 42, 48 and PB 9, 18, 27, 57
Current: PB 52. Boudicca of Maya
Huh - Raskol sacrificed a worker to save a city from a barb, but given the city situation, it wasn't going to enter anyway, if they just moved the worker away, was it?

Gav's "Hi!" leading up to that warning/threat just about killed me. I suppose superdeath could always settle the two southern corn sites as dotted, but a small part of me would be tempted to settle a city 1E of Gav's line in the sand, but way down south, just on principle :3

If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
