We have a bit of an issue with our close proximity but I am concerned about Rome and think that any scenario in which we die is mostly to General's advantage. How about we do not settle in each other direction for a while until we figure out an equitable land split?
2) What is your ETA on Alpha? I want to bulb Math and it is not going to happen particularly soon. Anything else you are willing to receive in exchange for Alpha? I can alternatively offer Sailing and something along the Monarchy line. Or even Aesthetics.

I'm glad you can see the danger posed by Agg Rome in a diplo game. I'd be happy to include a border agreement in an official non-aggression pact up to the point where praets don't pose an existential threat. Say t100?

We may be able to get ourselves some help in exchange for hammering Raskol afterwards. Plus this would be a possible fallback in case GKC decides to backstab us.

Yes, do pursue friendship with TBW, we need to have our backline safe. Try to get a long-term NAP, the longer, the better. If he allies himself with SD, that would be a catastrophe.

I am going to send this to GKC and TBW.
General, TBW, my greetings.
I want to propose a long-term four-way alliance between us three and Cairo. The goal of the alliance is to isolate Raskol and SD and eventually get SD's land split between Gavagai and GKC and Raskol's land split between TBW and Cairo.
Terms of the alliance:
1) We coordinate our research and trade with each other.
2) We have an indefinite NAP between each other.
3) We try to help each other in wars whenever we have the capability.
4) No deals with Raskol and SD without consulting other alliance members.
5) A blanket ban on any tech trading with SD and Raskol.
6) The alliance is for now secret. Do not admit its existence to SD and Raskol, explicitly or implicitly.
7) Any member can leave alliance at any time with 10-turns prior notice.
What's your opinion on that? If you are on board can you forward it Cairo? Our most pressing goal, if you are on board, would be to coordinate the first round of tech trading. I want to research Alpha but I am not committed yet. If any of you or Cairo have it on schedule, I would be happy to switch to HBR.

Sent it out but did not copy you, sorry, because I did not notice your second post. Will include you in all further correspondence. The reason I want to include Cairo is that without him we will have a balanced 3vs3 situation. But I do not want balance, I want victory, this is why I want to make it 4vs2. Of course, after we eliminate at least one of SD and Raskol, the alliance will break down and we will have some kind of 3vs1 or 2vs2 scenario.
