Turn 7
Moved warrior and found a bunch of flat land. Warrior will continue south and then hook back towards capital to guard settler. Warrior finishes next turn and will start a settler. No one else grew, so CMF and Kaiser are also working a 2 tile.
I did switch research to Animal Husbandry. If I take Fertile Rites (the builder) pantheon, I will need something for him to do. I can wait to get the boost to Celestial Navigation, since I have no plan to actual work either whales tiles and it will be a while to research it unless I find a science city state. I think the production from the sheep tile will help at the capital and I think I might go for mining sfterward to be able to quarry the stone for city 2. Should be able to speed getting other things produced while waiting for the Cothons. Probably won't be able to boost State Workforce but it was unlikely that I would have anyways. Also, might go straight for a monument at the capital after the settler for quicker culture research. Not sure yet, might want a slinger to help with barbs. We will see.

Turn 8
Warrior finishes and capital grew to size 2. Started a settler. Warrior heads east.
Western warrior finds more flat land. I decided to work the jade instead of the forested plains hill. It shows an additional 2 turns for the settler (11 turns after switch) but cuts Code of Laws by 4 turns (due in 4 turns). I will switch to the forested plains hill once CoL is finsihed and should not lose any turns on getting the settler out with an early Urban Planning card.
Looking at the Military Power, CMF and Ichabod probably started with a scout as they are ahead of me in power. Should be able to see next turn if I am back on top. CMF and Kaiser have not grown to 2 pop and suspect they will this turn unless they did some tile swapping to get a unit out earlier.

Turn 9
Big turn...well at least big compared to the turns so far. I moved my western warrior south and finds Lake Reyba, gaining the boost to Astrology. Awesome! That was a big unknown with going towards Celestial Navigation. Eastern warrior moves east and finds...
Desert! But occupied desert. The eastern most flat desert tile is not in range of Tyre, so must be a city state. If it were a neighbor, that would rather close. I am hoping for an unmet scientific city state to speed research along. Cultural would be my second choice followed by a Commercial one. If the desert continues, I should be able to meet them next turn. Western warrior is heading back to guard settler (due on T17).
In world news, everybody is now at size 2. Kaiser finished a tech (first to do so) and I am back on top in military power with my warrior. The others built either a scout or slinger.

Turn 10
Open the save to a barb scout coming from the east. I move eastern warrior to see if I can meet the city state (more important than a barb scout)...
Bologna! And has already met someone. Best guess would be Kaiser, since he is the only one to finish a tech so far. Could be someone else researching a more expensive one or working on a few to hide the fact. Regardless, there is someone to the east, maybe south east. Don't think they are directly south of me as that would be really close to my capital and warriors start on the west side of the settler but who knows. Bologna requests I build a government plaza. Very do-able but I am also considering researching Mysticism for the envoy and quicker research rate to speed Celestial Navigation along. I don't think culture is going to be an issue this early on, since I am planning an early monument at my capital and 2nd city. I should still be able to get
PP finished before the Era ends, if I need the points (testing showed a Classical GA is very do-able with Phoenicia).
Anyways, western warrior heads back east and finds another barb scout. In world news, CMF finishes CoL and Ichabod grows to size 3. He must have a double high food resource tile at his capital. That is pretty quick considering everybody just grew to size 2. No other techs of civics finished yet.
One point I need to think about tonight, do I send the eastern warrior north to chase the barb scout or south and east to look for a 3rd city state? I have no interest in meeting my neighbor yet as I start with the boost to writing. I will get a ship out soon that can head north and east to see if anymore city states are along the northern coast. Alternatively, the scout might become activated and I will get hoards of barbs coming to my capital but with Bologna there, the camp might be gone before I can find it. Tough choice, I will need to sleep on it.

Welcome! I frequent CivFanatics but don't really post much there. I also go by a different moniker, "Blue Odin". I don't remember why but I think it was either a length thing or "Woden" was already taken.
I will put together my thoughts on an overall plan for the first 60 or so turns in my next turn report.

Well Woden isn't taken at the moment :-)
Look forward to reading your plan.
Is this unmodded Civ VI or are you using a specific RB Mod?

Unmodded. We are using PYDT to pass save around and looks like we are getting a consistent 1 turn a day.
We do have small list of rules:
1. No pillage farming a city state->you attack, you conquer.
2. No Venetian Arsenal (Not a big deal on Pangaea maps but see PBEM4 as to why).
3. No Religious Settlements pantheon (free settler is just to powerful).
Map was built with all content up to, but not including, the Frontier Pass, so any city states and natural wonders prior to FP are possible.

That was an epic, I enjoyed reading that one!
I'm actually working on a Mod to balance the Pantheons because a free Settler is just so powerful compared to some of the others.
