I wonder, how many games have we had where there were two victory conditions above spaceship? It usually feels like it is a Victory Condition + Spaceship when Spaceship isn't the expected one.

No one ever picks Diplomatic so I guess this kind of game is the only plausible scenario: 1 or 2 strong favourites for culture or domination

There has been a decent amount of work done on studying the civ 4 ai, I think it's easier than I expected to run a couple thousand sims...

Oh, that's juicy. Time to figure out how to work this, and how long it takes to run 100 iterations, and how to scrape the output log files.

It’d be awesome if we could use that to run contests between user-defined custom AIs, Battlebots style. It would probably have to be limited to xml changes only, but imagine using past pitboss maps for shadow games with AIs as your desktop screensaver :D

Edit: Jup in Turn 345 there is Creative Construction located in this City. Earlier and later in was Mining.

Decent summer project honestly. This stuff hasn't really been touched in a decade, I think there's really a lot of potential here.

Game Three is finished! So that was a game that really well for about half of us in the picking contest, and really poorly for the other half. Another amazing turnout for the Livestream today, an average of 130 people over the 6 hour stream and 195 viewers at the height. Can we hit 200 in the next few weeks?
