Pitboss 53 Tech Thread

I'd be interested in playing something. The weirder options like later era start sound most appealing to me.

Sorry, that I haven't say anything. I've been busy these days. I'd like to play anything, but I would prefer a teams game. The suggestion of GeneralKill of a 2 teams sounds interesting to me.

I would be interested in a game with a small map. No bigger than PB49 which has about 70 land tiles per player, and I would be fine with a very small map like PB50 with about half that.

What about the advanced start mode in game the actual game? You get a certain amount of points that you can allocate at the beginning of the game according to how you values things ... chose a worker, city, extra starting tech, pop borders, etc. Advanced start works in hot seat, not sure how it works in Pitboss mischief but even if it doesn't, choices could be given to the mapmaker based on starting screenshot. Given a tiny map may need to restrict where cities can be places (e.g. within 3 tiles of start tile).

+1 to all of this. Would be in for this.

Sure, sounds cool.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.

I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.

I'd play one of the non-traditional starts, even the "everyone controls 2 civs" one. No interest in an actual team game, mainly because I tend to lose focus at inopportune times wink
Completed:  PBEM 34g (W), 36 , 35 , 5o, 34s, 5p, 42, 48 and PB 9, 18, 27, 57

Ok it looks like this one is catching on. I’m less interested in a teamer I think, though if others are, that could absolutely be split off into a separate game. In the meantime, let’s make a signup list for the above pitch.

I think The Black Sword is in based on his post, but he would need to confirm. Giraflorens might be as well? Superdeath, are you still good with making a map for this?

Yeah, I'd play that.

I'd like to join that one as well.

Ill make a map for whatever. Just dont be TOO harsh on my mapmakin' skillz tongue
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."
