Anyway, this is a bit of a puzzle. I think that TEACHER was one of the missing Waltz words, WORM and UNICORN were probably our Dragon words and it sure looks like UNICORN and SPOT were correct for Appaloosa. So, that leaves the two remaining Stain words. And there might easily be some overlap with our other clues. We should try one of CELL or PANTS. Are you happy about going PANTS next?

Sorry, I got a bit excited and figured it was a sure bet. I do think we're looking for a Stain-clued word and like PANTS as the last word, but I suspect that there may have been some re-cluing or other changes of plan along the way.

You guys were excellent, I almost ruined us with STAIN. You weren't wrong that I was pointing to Pants, Spot, Wall, Cell. Why cell? Because I brain farted and posted way to early in my morning after a rough night with the baby. >.< For some dang reason I saw CELL as red.

Hopefully obvious in retrospect, but I was going for the following:


Headshot (4): Model, Eye, Mouth, Hollywood.  Expected "Contract" as a misfire (though Merriam Webster confirms my supposition that portraiture is the only "real" definition of the word), but was disappointed the team insisted on focusing on words tangentially related to shooting people in the head, even after you got Model right with your first guess and had sussed out the three other words with direct meanings.  


Creep (3): Hollywood, Bug, Grass:  I was surprised you all never even thought of Grass, through which creepy crawlies creep.  Also creeps up on landscaping margins, etc.  I thought Teacher was a weaker connection, and more importantly fairly obviously Red.  


Rope (2): Well, Whip.  WK and Sunrise had it right, I still don't really understand the Wall guess, which fit Red's "Stain" when there weren't many other non-obvious options on the board for their missing words.  Also only Wells and Whips could literally include ropes.  Would have loved to clue Mouth, Well, and Whip all with Froth (3), but I was (and still am) fairly sure you'd hit Wave in the process.
