Also to confirm, we are deleting the starting settler and scout?

Sounds right on the start budget and deletion. The standard settings for Small is 540 points, but Monarch normally takes that down to like 480-something. 500 seems like a nice round number to go with.

Can we get some precise confirmations on the map settings so we can make an accurate sandbox? Either that, or can we use the sandbox creation tool to get one made for us that is tech cost accurate?

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

And the included changes are here: Changes

Just like before no gameplay changes, only fixes.

Also forget about all the stuff I wrote about city founding radius it's not included. At this point in the game I don't want to introduce any more gameplay changes.

I might be dumb, but can you spell out the steps explicitly on how to open a scenario with this mod running and have the advanced start trigger? I tried starting a custom scenario game, and it still skips that part. I'm trying to figure out how to do it locally.

Update: I figured out how to do this. It requires editing the WBSave directly to strip out a bunch of the pre-defined settings.

One note. When Monarch difficulty is set, you have to set the Advanced Start points to 556 in order to actually get 500. Difficulty has an impact on Advanced Start points.

So when do we shun the laggards in their picking?

Is the process that we all decide and post it in our threads and then reveal it to everyone once everyone has decided, so no one has knowledge?

ok, well, who's ready to reveal? I am and I presume Commodore is, or he's very impatient to self-shun.
