Yes, he did. But he talked about conspiracies in general and not about any specific ones for a long time. Still worthwhile a watch as so many episodes of 'Last Week Tonight'

The show is great, but I've taken a long break from the "dunk on the stupid/bad things in the world" formula that show followed and perfected because it depressed me more than it made me laugh. The world is just a weird place at the moment.
Those suggestions are great and will probably be included at some point. The Bielefeld one reminds me of the internet joke that "Finland isn't real," but I think the Finland thing is more of a meme than a conspiracy theory. Though admittedly, the Flat Earth stuff is sort of in the same gray area.
As for in-game stuff, AT did kill my warrior as expected, but notably he rejected a 10T peace treaty and instead offered a cease fire that I accepted. That implies to me that he's definitely going to send at least the first warrior my way. It'll be fine, but I do need to plan around it. Also, Commodore is annoyingly hovering around my southern border, and I don't want to let him past, so I haven't been able to explore further south. I'm not quite sure if he's doing it on purpose. He did whip 3 times for 5 population last turn after revolting into Slavery, but I seriously doubt those are units.

Flat earth started in the 19th century, so I somewhat doubt it's only a meme.

Settled Fan Death. Cornflakes settled the Marble over here, and this looks like our mainland border. I'm pretty sure that land below is an island now based on the screenshot coming next. I also whipped my first Granary to completion over in Moon Landing. I complete Mysticism, but I'm flowing over into Archery next for safety, and I'm also getting a Chariot out in the next 2T. Judging by demo screen, somebody has a real unit. Now that I've added a new city and a few other players have to, here are the counts that I have that I think are also accurate for the two I can't visually confirm. I've sorted them in order of who got to each city threshold first.
Oh also, this city got me trade routes immediately. I actually did not expect that. I assume it's because the north river being in my culture is good enough?
Quote:The Black Sword: 5 (settled 2T ago)
scooter: 5 (settled this turn)
Cornflakes: 4 (settled this turn)
Commodore: 3 (likely just whipped settler(s))
Mr Cairo: 3 (settled last turn)
AutomatedTeller: 3 (settled this turn)
What on earth is this land ![lol lol](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif) . Placing a city is actually kind of awkward here. Settling on the Wine "feels" better in terms of spacing and defensibility, but I'd really prefer to have the ridiculous foods in the first ring. We'll see. Setting that fish/crab island spot for IC routes just NW of this will also be a top priority.
As borders are starting to tighten, I'm starting to feel uncomfortable militarily. A few real units coming up ASAP.

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. ![[Image: noidea.gif]](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/noidea.gif) In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Just about to suggest that too. What better for civ than a city that doesn't exist?

No proper report for now, but I picked up AT's graphs last night, so it's time for a Graph Dump.
Stray thoughts:
* My food and GNP has been pretty consistently above both of my neighbors. That's a positive sign.
* AT was lagging a tad behind even before I razed his city. That makes him an extremely promising conquest target. I hope he builds me a wonder or two first.

AT showed up right on time.
The forest there is 2/3 chopped, and I've been playing before him and did this turn as well. I was hoping he wouldn't show up so I could put that chop into completing the Flat Earth Granary, but this will do. The chop completes the Chariot next turn as he advances, then I play first on T30 and kill his warrior. Then, who knows, maybe I wander east with that Chariot and see if he's got a spear out yet. I'm betting the answer is no. I may need it to stay home though.

I think this area was custom-built to be impossible to dotmap. It may be determined by how quickly it starts to fill up. I'm struggling a bit with the trade-off of pushing down here versus settling the apparent islands in between.
According to the Zulan combat calculator, my chariot odds against a C1 warrior on forest is actually not amazing. I think it works out to 65% win, 5% withdraw, 26% loss. That's probably not a dice roll I'll take. However, he may move onto the Horse, in which case it's much easier. Thankfully I do have my warrior in the area too. You can see my power is 30% higher before the Chariot even completes, so he doesn't really have any military.
Considering that I think AT is the Rival Worst in the major categories, tracking how far behind me he is will be pretty important to me.
