Howdy folks, I'll be taking over Canada for Chevalier until he has time to play again. I've been dedlurking and am unspoiled. I am operating on US eastern time, so the timing of when turns are played is going to change a bit, we'll see exactly how that shakes out.

I assume you are using CMF's token and the PYDT client. Let me know if you need me to post here or send a PM when I play my turn so you get some sort of notification. I typically play right after suboptimal plays (one good thing about working from home), so the turn is usually past to CMF before 7 pm eastern time.

As a heads up, I am going to be on vacation from 08.08. - 15.08. but I will bring my convertible to play both CIV6 games. Probably more in the evening time period (CEST) though

Hi all,

Just a general heads up on what turn times are going to look like, I can reliably play a turn in the morning (generally by 13:00 UTC), and sometimes in the evening. It looks like the morning turns are fitting in pretty well, so that's encouraging.

I just wanted to give a heads up that my schedule this evening has devolves into marginally controlled chaos. My turn will be played tonight, I just don't know yet if it will be early in the evening or a half hour after the end of my stated turn window.

So...Tropical Storm Isaias has knocked out power at home and the utility currently estimates it'll be restored on Thursday morning. I should be able to get the save passed tonight playing on battery power. I intend on recharging my laptop and phone here at my workplace and play the turn on schedule tomorrow. However, in the event that plan goes awry for some reason and I go AWOL for a day you'll know what happened.

Yeah, the turn pace has been great!

Walking around the neighborhood there's a lot of branches down but a couple of trees came down in the wrong spots and took out power to about 1000 homes near us. Definitely hit or miss in terms of who's out and who's got power. My utility had 450k without power and New Jersey has about 2.3M without power as of 5pm this evening.

I was able to download the save to my phone in the backyard, copy it to my computer used half my battery playing the turn and am now at my mother-in-law's charging our electronics. That does mean, though, that the turn is passed...Woden is up.

Thanks Suboptimal, that is an admirable amount of effort to keep the good turn pace facing the situation you currently experience.

The turn pace is great, working mostly from home helps getting the save quickly turned over. Starting this Weekend I will be mostly limited on my evening window though due to my vacation and many activities around Lake Constance. I hope that will not slow down the pace too much
