If this clue's only purpose was to point away from Crow (via the tenuous nursery rhyme connection, but we haven't got any better theory), that could be done more simply as Bird 0 since we already took Parrot off the board. He's trying to say something else with this clue too. It might be warning us away from Casino (penny slot machines), maybe a future clue needs us to ignore that word. It could be indicating Buck as an opposite of a penny, and trying to connect to that without hitting Casino. That's my best guess from what we have.

None of this accounts for the "two-" part of the clue, as opposed to saying "sixpence" directly with the rhyme, but I can't see anything on the board that connects either towards or away from "two-". Maybe away from Shoe since they come in pairs.

Another bird word!? Hmm, I don`t know what to make of that.

CROW suggests itself. And then perhaps BUCK for a missing word from earlier. The unlimited clue is probably meant to mean two unique Raven words and one other word. I can`t immediately see the last word, though. Hopefully someone can sort this out..

CROW then TEAM and BUCK

Raven is CROW and TEAM and BUCK were our two +1s that we indicated. Unlimited is being used to allow us multiple +1s because cluing CROW and TEAM or CROW and BUCK would be A) more difficult and B) might make us think our +1s were wrong.

I think I agree with Lewwyn, but why not Bird unlimited? What does Raven add?

If Raven is clueing two words then I’d think Crow and Novel for the poem. But we only need three words to win, right?

Yeah only need three. So the only reason to clue unlimited is for us to pick two already clued words aka car wash words. IMO
