I have two map options. I'll send them here later, but I'd really like some more lurker input this time around

Balancing between coastal and non-coastal starts to give 14 food, 3 hammers, and 3 commerce from the 3 food resources, assuming no financial.
Each start gets 3 luxuries, 1 ivory, 1 wine, 1 calendar resource.
Coastal starts get 9 forests, inland ones get 11. All starts have 4 hills, 2 plains, 2 grassland, 1 of the plains hills will have no forest covering, the other 3 will necessarily be covered by forest.
Each start will have bronze/horses within 7 tiles (the map is quite large), and marble/stone exactly 6 tiles apart, in opposite direction. There will be a source of gold or silver or gems on a plains hill available for a second city that doesn't share food with the capital.
Questions for lurkers: should I tone down to two food resources?
These might be lush starts by RB standards, but the rest of the terrain will be quite standard, just like in PB52.

Got any screenshots? Descriptions don't really do anything for me. I need to see them.

Here's the save file+screenshots of the two main starting configurations.

Give me some more hours and you will get comments from me about the starts.

Here my feedback. Bare in mind that I don't know everybodys complaints from PB52, so feel free to disregard contraticting feedback from me.
General
- I think moving one of the luxuries out of the initial BFC makes for a less lush start, but not necessarily worse start.
- I like that the player has more then 2 directions to go to with their scout.
The inland start
- You made sure that you can reach the deer with one worker movement from the city. Good job.
- Keep the plains forest deer in the second ring. If it's in the first ring it will speed up the worker compared to other starts.
The coastal start
- The wine on a plains hill on a river is a strong incentive to move the settler there and found there.
- Placing the sugar on a river makes for a nice option of farming the sugar pre-Calendar. But for the sake of balance keeping it of fresh water might be the right call here. Just keep it in mind.
Otherwise so far I like what you present. Will have a look at the full map next.

Map in general:
- Feels a lot bigger then PB52 with all the islands. Maybe we don't need that many islands.
- Maybe make some islands only reachable by Astronomy for some late-game discoveries
- I noticed that east of 1 and south of 3 is the biggest island. Interesting.
- I noticed that the southern islands have a lot more strategic resources compared to the northern
Player specific
Player 1:
- Does not have a seafood on their eastern coast line. This may lead the player to disregard a coastal city there and delay them to settling the big island east of them. Player 3 has it easier here.
- The southern shoreline is also bare of seafood
- Horses are quite far away (NW) maybe swap them with the copper E
Player 4:
- Where is the stone?
- And the uranium
- Looks like there are a way less luxury resources around this start compared to others
- Maybe add one additional unique luxury there
Player 5:
- Has no easy access to stone compared to the others
- Lacks uranium
Player 7:
- Lacks uranium
- Maybe add a land-based oil on one of the nearby islands
Player 8:

I think all the deer are in second ring - I'll double check. It's fair to make all ivory second-ring for coastal starts then, and have them be forested, thanks mackoti!
Forgot about uranium. I felt like 1 and 3 might be the most constrained?
I'll make some islands astronomy only, perhaps the middle chain. I'll also reduce the size of some of them/remove some perhaps.
Forgot to balance uranium, thanks.
Thanks Charriu!
