No argument here.

That was needlessly unkind. Wolf is tough in general, first game is tough, and Meiz and Pin did a superb job teasing out the connection between the two of you early on.

And yeah, had to post a lot or was going to be the first lynch. Hopefully not to be repeated but the tactic did the job.

The thing with Scooter and Pin is the coincidence of possible wolf coordination, and in that situation is more like people laughing and joking about the coincidence not actually reasoning to be suspicious of them as a wolf pair. That is very different from watching who's online, when they get online and then when they post. Making meta arguments that someone is a wolf because they came online at a specific time or posted at a certain time, or they were online but didn't post meaning they are a lurking wolf... that just ruins the game. I don't want to have to be posting in the thread whenever I'm online because otherwise people might see me and think I'm a wolf. It creates undue pressure and a hostile forum experience. And its not even accurate most of the time. Werewolf is hard enough without that level of meta-forum gaming and profile camping. I have literally left my online status invisible over the years because of this. Just avoid doing it, there's plenty else to talk about in the thread.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think thrawn's point was Alhambram's post and switch of vote after El Grillo had posted. Not based on any profile camping. IMO That's totally in reasonable lines of play.
Edit. Though I agree that in general any meta related arguments should be avoided, just not sure if the line was crossed with that point he made,

Brick noted the profile camping.

To clarify:

You are more than welcome to ask about and make accusations about timing of posts in the WW thread.

You may not watch people's profiles to see if they are online and view when they are online to build a case about them ignoring the game, or to use their activity in other threads on RB for the same purpose.

Also if you as a player are ever worried about being watched, you do have an option in your personal settings to hide yourself from the "Who's Online" section.

Specifically this post:

Is what I mean. If we accuse people based on when they show up online and when other people show up online...

He explained more in the followup post https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/show...#pid750016

So my take on this, it's ok to suspect wolves agreeing and coordinating to bus one of the other based on post timings. I understood this is what thrawn meant as well. It's not ok to accuse based on online statuses or profile camping. Of course I cannot be 100% on what happened, but in any case the point has now been made pretty clear for future games.

For me it all adds up to careful wolf avoiding saying too much and taking too much of a stand.

I was just coming in here to say basically this. lol

Good god, were my early posts that bad??
