You idiots - you're never going to find what's causing the symptoms if you don't experiment. You can't just sit around and then cry Lupus. Its never Lupus!
Its too quiet - can you do nothing if I'm not here to hold your hand? My leg hurts.

Pindicator and Lewwyn (fake edit: and Kaiser) were both voting Meiz, Commodore was voting Pindicator, and Gaspar was voting Commodore. Then Commodore joined his former target Pindicator on Meiz, and then Gaspar joined his former target Commodore on Meiz. Now all four americans are voting together on Meiz.
Meanwhile three people are voting Gaspar.
What can we conclude from this? Nothing yet. Just trying to organize things.
This is scummy as hell. There's nothing lazier than pure vote analysis anyway but doing it on opening votes and joke votes? Scummy, scum, scum.

I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Good morning everyone! A nice day isn't it? And I'm exceptionally happy to hear my blog has gathered audience! Sadly, I have later realized that blogs are out-of-date these days, and especially yongsters are more interested in these things called "meme's". I highly recommend you all to Google them for a good laugh!
As for this game, unfortunately I don't have much to add yet, as the posts are RP & random votes. Sorry for that Gaspar. My suggestion would be to go along with the RP but also separately posting your thoughts below, or something along those lines. I feel like that would help us all to get a better grasp on the game.
The only exception to above I can see is the reasoning to vote novice, though his original post I also see as very neutral. Also a comment on sunrise's reluctance on voting, depite sunrise voting. Still, that could be just RP'ing as well. Still, minor (and zero value) points for Gaspar for trying to get the game started.
Lewwyn. Still alive there?

I am loving the RP posts from several of the characters, and mad respect for people who can keep it up. Commodore if you stop doing the translation thing I'm voting for you That said I won't be able to keep it up so I'll try to do as Meiz suggests and throw some RP in via italics but otherwise thoughts are sunrise's and not Mr. Peanutbutter's
With respect to the quoted passage above, Mr. Peanutbutter just loves everyone and was in-character reluctant. My vote was out-of-character as stupid and random as everyone else's early Day 1, although it is true that Adrien stole my first choice character.
Give me a sec to look at this novice post since it's the only thing substantive so far...

To bring more content to the thread, this is for everyone questioning my motives.
Yes, I am not proud of everything I've done in the past. And I most definitely know change can be a long process. Yet, I can still be a valuable asset for rooting out the evil.

Okay, thank goodness we're less than a day in, so re-reading every vote discussed in this post and doing some counts wasn't yet crazy hard.
Here's the actual voting progression for the votes above, along with my very brief summaries of the cases made:
Lewwyn -> Meiz, random/RP (if RP I don't get the joke)
Pindicator -> Meiz, flavor of Meiz villain role
Commodore -> Pindicator, pushback on Pindicator's vote being tied to flavor
Gaspar -> Commodore, flavor of Commodore being a sea creature
Rowain -> Gaspar, pushback on Gaspar's vote being tied to flavor
Gold -> Gaspar, flavor of Gaspar being involved in drug trade
novice -> Gaspar, flavor based on a pun in Gaspar's name
Kaiser -> Meiz, actual read of nicer tone than in past games
Pindicator -> [non-vote but relevant?], defends Meiz from Kaiser by RP reasons for nicer tone
Commodore -> Meiz, ratio of flavor posts to effort posts
Gaspar -> Meiz, ratio of flavor posts to effort posts
This has a couple areas to explore so give me another sec and I have some questions to pose...

I gathered Kaiser's vote was based on Skeletor being nicer than expected.

novice You give a summary, and credit for posting something substantive even if it's effort-substantive and not scumhunting-substantive. But can you explain/talk about:
1) What's the deal with the 'four Americans' stuff? Meiz had five voters, is one of them somehow less relevant?
2) You thought the Meiz pattern was worth raising, even with the "nothing yet" to conclude qualifier. Do you think there's any significance of progression of Pindactor votes, Commodore votes for Pin,
Gaspar votes for Commodore, Commodore moves to Meiz, Gaspar moves to Meiz? Specifically that Commodore and Gaspar made their votes in the same order each time - to me that's a little on the nose
to be scum coordination.
3) To me you mentioning Gaspar looked like an afterthought. Yet Gaspar got (amongst the parties being discussed here) three consecutive low-effort votes with your vote being the third. Is that
less interesting than the Meiz progression to you?
Commodore you didn't like Meiz's quantity of posting versus effort. When you voted Meiz here was the post count per player for the top posters:
Cyneheard - 6
Rowain - 6
Meiz - 4
Commodore - 3
Jabbz - 3
novice - 3
pindicator -3
Why are you calling out Meiz for lack of content relative to posts versus, say, Cyneheard? I'd think you'd notice Cyneheard since a low-content post from him immediately proceeded your post switching to Meiz for that reason.
Gaspar same question, plus you're the fifth person on a bandwagon. To you is Meiz's interest in "idle bullshit" a strong enough lean to feel good about being the fifth voter on him? Because it looks a little like you grabbed half of Kaiser's justification and half of Commodore's and ran with it...
Finally Pindicator you defended Meiz but stayed on him while a train was building on him even though you were only on him for flavor. Can you discuss?

...maybe...
He does quote (ugh) three different Meiz posts though and says you're being nicer "than past memory" and not just "nicer than expected." Kaiser can you clarify?

On phone so can't GIF easily, but this would have been my first use of "take the dog out and shoot him".
As for novice's post... It's both in character and not as useless as the usual D1 starters. So why not I guess ? I'll move my vote when I have more time

Idiot.
I pay absolutely no attention to first half of first day vote totals. If we lynch someone who has 5 votes on day 1 they either posted "I am scum" or the village is filled with idiots and deserve what they get. I read posts, I check for tone, I vote. I can't believe I'm getting roped into vote justifying at this early stage but:
Vote Commodore - very in character both as House and Gaspar to vote for the stupid dolphin and Commodore, respectively. It was an opening vote, it means less than nothing.
Vote Meiz - Based entirely on how uninquisitive he was on day 1. Meiz is an awesome villager, when he's not being an awesome villager, I'm suspicious.
Vote novice - post was scummy
I'm only responding to this because you don't sound scummy, just silly. Stop wasting my and the rest of these idiots' time looking for something worthwhile in vote patterns right now. Try reading someone and seeing how it conforms/doesn't conform to what you expect from them/scum. That's how you catch villains, not by playing color by numbers when we have no colors or numbers yet. That's just scribbling.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
