@Gaspar - I was gonna come back hard until I realized you weren't novice. The avatar thing is fun but demands caution. A few other responses:
*Two games ago I think Day-1 vote patterns were important. Or at least during the game several people noted that the formation of bandwagons and subsequent (lack of) movement was illuminating.
*You don't need to justify the Commodore or novice votes. As you can see I'm pinging novice too and I'm assigning zero negative points to random Day 1 flavor votes.
*To the extent I'm asking you to vote justify its not because you voted for Meiz, it's because you
moved off your original vote right after your original target moved to your new target while
also, in my mind, having your vote justification be a stretch. I'm not swearing a blood-oath against you but
relative to the other Meiz voters I think you looked worse at the time. Do you disagree?
*You don't like vote analysis and want to focus on tone. Fine. But
somehow the game has to generate enough substance Day 1 to have tone to talk about. For you that's Meiz's contributions relative to baseline - him "not being an awesome villager." So when
specifically was he supposed to start taking the game seriously? What damning post was his scum-dar ignoring? Because it sure didn't seem like
your scumdar was doing much of anything until you voted Meiz. Was he supposed to vote for himself?
I started this planning to move off you onto novice or one of the lurkers but I think I'll sit here a bit more
