Happened to me last game, I couldn't fix it. Stayed with me the whole thread. Every post the multiquote popped up. Now I just don't use multi quotes for fear of being haunted.

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't use multi-quotes.

@Rowain I have a response to your earlier post re: Pind voters, but it's saved and waiting for closer to dawn as you requested.

Oh my God, I just go up to the bathroom for a little nap darlings, and when I come back the koala has talked you into actually murdering a man! And it was the Mexican trumpet player! Well who's going to entertain us now then?

Congratulations heroes, and commiserations to any wolves if they'd thought they'd swung a mislynch only to find Thrawn flip red. And well played Thrawn - that must be the hardest role in werewolf, and having a ten-tonne Lewwyn bearing down on you is the hardest place to be. Great hammering though Lewwyn.

Kaiser, I liked your huge investigation report. Helpful to get your opinions, and also helpful to have the information laid out.

This was unclear, but my #83 post was responding to Rowain.

I think it is a good mark that you are trying to draw people out to talk.

So I meant that I thought it was a town lean that ROWAIN was drawing people out to talk.

Just as an aside, the complaints about people not being able to parse Omar remind of the time I tried to convince my parents to watch The Wire, and they said they couldn't understand anything that was going on. So good roleplay!

On the subject of the Omar 'case', we sadly don't have a wiretap installed so no proof of anything. And I am not tunnelled on him and I am not certain he's bad. But our interaction raised three red flags for me,

1: He refused to give any town leans except me, and this could equally be an attempt to get me off his back. In fact if he was town, it might be natural to get defensive and assume that he was being targeted by scum. But the bigger point is, villains don't like giving town leans because it narrows their options down the road. If he says Day 1, 'I think Novice seems good', it makes it harder to flip to Novice later if that becomes convenient.

Giving vague scum leans is good for scum, because it keeps options open. Giving town leans is bad, so they don't want to do it. And Omar didn't want to do it.

Also, he HAD recently said that "the talking dog seems to have surprising wisdom in his words." So I assumed that means he would have a town lean on Mr Peanutbutter but he didn't mention this, which felt slightly contradictory.

2: He went dark after our exchange. This might be a time zone thing, sorry GES I'm not sure where you're based. But it's also a classic tactic for a wolf getting a -little- bit of heat. If you're being piled-on like poor Thrawn then lurking just makes you seem guiltier, but if there are a bunch of other cases and not that much attention on a wolf, then it makes sense for him ease back and let attention move on.

3: This is a minor thing, but I didn't get a lot of backup on him. If it was town-on-town, I would have thought a wolf might have wanted to keep stirring that pot and encouraging me.

AND THOSE ARE THE THOUGHTS OF GLUM!

Much to the surprise of his Bal’more people, Omar be a Padres and Lakers fan, so he was otherwise occupied. Also had that nice fiber installed by the AT Telegraph today, gotta have that quick net to stay in the game. Plus, since he been out of the game, Omar been holding down that 9-5. Being a citizen. It was more like a 9-8:30 today, but who countin’. Only caught up now cause the thread went dark with the night. But Omar don’t scare.

Frankly, now that it weekend time, Omar need to go back and re-read from the start. Curious to look at where votes ended up compared to what opinions were actually expressed. Maybe not much, but I like that tangible evidence. Don’t know any of you enough, other than maybe Weeb Fox, to make a guess on tone alone, and well, that player always loud.

Since I skipped half the block quotes to catch up, some context missed I suspect, but as of now, I would lean Weeb Fox town, just because he got a snitch, and something about Duo Puppet read town to me. Not sure why honestly. Omar also liked Robot’s post, mainly cause it was like those Cliff Notes Omar used to get through that To Kill a Mockingbird nonsense in school. Boo Radley, though—legit street name.

Still figure one of Bee-Boy (the dude who look like a bee) or Flip probably a villain. Omar assumed they didn’t know Q was a bad guy based on the role read, but Brick withholding that info. Gone both ways in past games apparently. Not sure it matter though. If they know Q a traitor, we probably should assume they only let him go down to save one of their own. If they didn’t know, simple math says one of the three was probably (assuming ~50%) a vanilla villain. Not a certainty, but not nothing either when there are 17 people left.

I agree with Omar's thoughts above. On reread Lewwyn seems more towny on his flurry of posts againt thrawn. Good points in hindsight Still, I would recommend to revaluate if Commodore & Pind turn up scum down the road. I also agree with WarriorKnight feeling towny so far.

Q’s posts begging for people to give him stuff to talk about though is the scummiest.

Pindicator is third at this point. Woe-is-me posts aren’t helping.

Gaspar, I move more town on you with your Omar remark.
What was Gaspar's Omar remark referred to?

Pretty interesting stuff from Jabbz for day 1.

Just to make sure I understand - You’re saying I’m scum throwing accusations around liberally, potentially to serve as distancing?

What’s the irony?

Eh. I just got rid of my sig yesterday. It was my son talkin smack about me tunneling on you and costing town the win. Minor irony.

Heh, so was that the basis for saying I’m accusing liberally, or was that based on you reading the thread?

So the basis was on you accusing people liberally. Like I said, it's as good a reason as any other that's been used so far. Sticking to that idea, it's moving to commodore with his 6 votes (by my count).

He later reinforced that he just went with the vote tallies to base his vote on, https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/show...#pid752668

Anyway, I checked back and novice had just went after Gaspar when Jabbz made his initial vote on novice. So despite Jabbz saying he's following the flow of conversation, I don't think his initial vote on novice suggests that in any way. I guess he can have a stance of "skip day 1" as town as well, but just skipping player posts completely before making a vote feels very strange.

Sigh, read all way from beginning till post 500. Honestly this is a bit diffcult to read for me, especially with some Role Playing wrapped up with posts which makes harder for me to read others.
Also I am not type to make very long post about who and why as Kaiser did at post #276, many respect for him in this reqard.

Let's start with facts:

Lynch votes
8 votes: thrawn/Q (Lewwyn, pindicator, AdrienIer, Commodore, Rowain, Kaiser, sunrise089, Q)
6 votes: pindicator/Henchman 21 (Meiz, Cyneheard, WarriorKnight, Gazglum, Gaspar, novice)
1 votes: Commodore/Flipper (Jabbz)
1 votes: Gaspar/Gregory House (Gold Ergo Sum)
1 votes: Alhambram/Homer Simpson (Bobchillingworth)
1 votes: no lynch (Alhambram)

Thrawn turned out to be traitor and as already said that don't completely clear whoever voted for Thrawn as townies because we don't know extacly whether wolves knew that Q was traitor or not.
Before that Commodore and Pindicator were popular picks and probably those two would be taking top spots again at day 2. But we should keep checking for others, especially who did contribute little at day 1 (including me) should be grilled at day 2.
And I see some people calling my no lynch a scummy/anti-town play, can you please explain to me why? To be clear I am not accusing you but I don't understand entirely why no lynch is no good.

My feelings about players after day 1:
Lewwyn, AdrienIer, Kaiser, Sunrise and Meiz do feel townish to me.

Rowain, Warriorknight, Gazglum, Gaspar, Cyneheard ,novic and GES still unsure.

Pindicator, Commodore, Jabbz and Bob are supicious, first two due events at day 2 and other two due low activity (which I carries same sin).

I like to hear what are thoughts about day 1 from Jabbz and Bob.

And roleplaying question, not to taken too seriously for Garak: Melllvar previously pitted star trek characters against other characters and now too one of star trek character turned out be villain now, what do you think about remaining start trek character?

It's obvious I haven't been posting much, and I'm sorry for that. I'm struggling to keep up in any meaningful fashion, the volume is just too high for my eyes (injured them a few years back, thought they were more recovered than they are). I'll do my best to have some more information out before the next vote, but I totally understand if I end up being voted on general principals. I get this is wolfy, and that is unavoidable, but you work with what you've got.
