If you look at pindis play so far can you really say this is scummy play? I agree that it is not pro-town at all but IMO scum pindi would play far better.
OTOH I think that Q thought pindi to be a wolf so he voted himself off to make sure he dies - as it is still a mislynch for winning conditions.

I would also like to hear from Jabbz,GES,Bob, Alhambram give their point of view. Preferable shortly before Dawn.
The thing that's hard for me to unpack now is the way the Q/thrawn train moved at the end - was that the village being convinced that thrawn was scum, or the wolves moving to protect their own, or both? If pind is a villager, then I think that really helps clear everyone who moved on thrawn at the end (at least those that were on pind) - why would the wolves move at the deadline to hang a villager? This is also assuming that the wolves didn't know Thrawn was scum.
If the wolves knew Thrawn was scum, then the end of day seems odd to me (I would think the wolves would choose to bus a wolf and get full village cred over bussing a traitor - but wouldn't move at the buzzer to save a villager for a traitor) - and so pind looks very very guilty to me in that scenario.
Why the pind vote?
Pind's contributions fit the "lazy scum" mold for me too well, so that's why I moved onto him (which I'll note for the record was before any serious trains had formed - I was vote #2, and there were a bunch of people in the couple of votes range at the time).
I picked up that thrawn was lost in what he wanted to do, that's why I didn't read him as scum any more and moved off him when I did. Wolves wouldn't have been that lost. At the end, I felt more confident in my read than in Lewwyn's read. Ironically we were sort of both right? I guess?

His tone feels fine. I see no sign of scumminess, but the "as an american he should have read through GES's posts easily" argument gives me pause because I can hardly be a judge on that. So not quite town read but no reason to want to see him dead yet. I'll try a reread before the end of the night and will post if it changes my mind or if I get reminded of a moment I liked.

Hmmm..... My suggestion for you would be to also take a look at potential suspects besides "he is after me". I think there are very legit reasons to be suspicious of your day 1.

The amount of interaction tonight is quite interesting too. It's usually bad for town but there may be good reasons for it this time, who knows.

The lynch should have helped us clear some suspicions /alignements Q rolling as traitor makes that a lot harder especially as we don't know if the wolves knew about him or not.
1) Case pindi is scum:
1.a the wolves didn't know about Q: That makes those voting and pushing for Q look bad at first glance but there were enough votes and enough anti-towntells that he had a lot of villagers on him.
1.b the wolves did know about Q: that makes those that pushed for Commodore look scummy if Comm is town.
2) Case pindi is town:
2.a. The wolves didn't know about Q: The wolves had a very relaxing day and could easy move their votes around especially if Comm is villager. If Comm is scum those pushing him up to 4 votes are rather towny
2.b. The wolves did know about Q: Those pushing for a not-Q-lynch especially those pushing the pindi-waggon hard do look scummy.
Course of action: Lynch pindicator, lynch Commodore.
During the end of the day we had 3 main-pushers: Lewwyn for the Q-lynch, Meiz for the pindi-lynch and Gaspar for the Commodore-lynch to keep in mind if one of those die tonight

Post 295.
Im trying to put more together pre-night-deadline but am stuck on phone and also trying to not miss the start of the Florida football game. In general I’m skeptical of this smart, sophisticated crowed being so flummoxed with RP speech from Omar and Flipper. It feels like a lazy reason to not have to read closely.

Rowain, save your answer for the deadline (I'm really not liking all this night talk), but what are your thoughts on Gaspar?
