(October 3rd, 2020, 13:39)pindicator Wrote: Novice, are you taking an early day 1 read of mine on Commodore?  Because I just said that I did a re-read on Commodore.  Here, have my notes:

Commodore

11      opening vote, pindicator
13      playful jab at Gaspar
14      RP
44      votes Meiz, lots of posting but all of it RP
48      pushes Meiz
104     votes Gaspar for his #63, saying gaspar should know novice is being his usual self
also reads at how quiet Jabbz and Lewwyn are
106     Slight attack on Rowain for his #105 - warranted IMO
109     Pushes Gaspar more, says it is an overreaction by him
115
132     Q had told him to shut up
140     Accuses Jabbz (re #139) for never voting in his posts
142     More against Jabbz: he doesn't make votes he just talks about them
153     Says he feels strange about voting with Sunrise on Gaspar.  Reiterates: Gaspar's vote on Meiz made sense, but the Novice vote felt forced / stirring up drama
158     Votes Gold Ergo Sum for his #155 but he's voting on the target that Commodore just pushed (Gaspar).  Casts doubt on Lewwyn.
160     Re Lewwyn #157: "shit or get off the pot"
162     Asks Gold Ergo Sum to translate his RP in #161
164     Explains his #160: Lewwyn is reproaching Alhambram for No Lynch vote, but keeps his own vote parked on a player who is a singleton with no case (WarriorKnight)
278     Asks why he has a train on him.
282     Votes pindicator, no reason.  This appears to be a self-defense vote while he catches up.
374     Says he does not follow the case on him then quotes a bunch of people voting him.  Votes thrawn.
       Quotes:
Rowain #215 - calls Jabbz scummy, me null
Meiz #243 - pokes at novice
Rowain #261 - votes Commodore, saying he will join novice
           Novice #262 - staying Commodore
           etc
390     says he didn't vote Pindicator - but he did in 282
he says pindicator is null, Q is variable
I think he honestly forgot he put his vote on me as a defensive measure while he was reading

NIGHT 1

429
445     Says he cannot assume scum new about the traitor or its existence
447     Confused by Gold Ergo Sum saying "bee boy"
471     I don't understand the reference here, he's asking "But why?" to Meiz's #469
474     More Bee Boy
477     Elaborates more with novice, saying GES was being lazy intentionally
481     Lays out more of why GES is lazy scum: quotes GES #155 and GES #24
483     Clarifies that he suspects GES confusion was deliberate obtuseness
516     continues...
517     ...
522     Accuses Novice of setting up Jabbz mislynch for just wanting to lynch Commodore
525     Clarifies he has no clear read on Jabbz, but is feeling set up by Novice

Early on I did have trouble parsing him, but that's partly why I did the re-read.  Didn't want to walk into another situation like I did with Cyneheard in 46, defending someone just because I was skimming them.  And with the dolphin noises my eyes just want to skip over those lines so it was easy to skip over real stuff too, that's why I initially was having trouble reading him.

Thanks for the notes.

I was referring to your post made 17 minutes before deadline on day one:

Why haven't you voted for Comm? Will you vote for Comm?

I haven't taken the effort to dig past his speech impedement.  Honestly, his posts are full of noise for me because of that and I can't quickly read them.

He's posting one-liners of chirps followed by one-liner translations in italics. How hard can it be?

So at that point you hadn’t really read his posts at all?

I think that exchange may have won my heart.

GES, what's up home slice?

AdrienIer, Rowain and Lewwyn thanks for clariyfing why no lynch vote is bad, in addition Lewwyn asked me question:

(October 3rd, 2020, 10:59)Lewwyn Wrote: So, who would you have voted for at the end if you'd been online?

Probably easy to say now, but I would have voted for Thrawn last minute, people raised valid points of concerns about Thrawn that I argee most while Commodore and Pindicator comes off bit less scummy for me at that moment.

(October 3rd, 2020, 12:26)pindicator Wrote: I have a big question of "why Gazglum?".  He seemed to be on Gaspar and Gold Ergo Sum the most.  His last post of the day was a big attack on GES and that seemed to be the way he was headed next.  Against Gaspar he noted in #182 that Gaspar said he didn't like Lewwyn but then voted for the same person as Lewwyn's target (thrawn).  I'll add to that Gaspar later in the day then did not want to vote thrawn again.

He also notes in post #194 that Gaspar's play reminds him of WW36 when Gaspar was scum.  Attacks GES in that post too, saying he did not like either of their replies.

I also did wonder why Gazglum, he came across me as neutral. Maybe that is why wolves decided to strike him with power to hide his role/alingement.
I kinda expected that wolves would pick likes as Meiz or Lewwyn due constant scum hunting, but there is also risk of them being protected.
Instead hitting high profile player whose death might lead to somewhere or low profile who can be used as mislynch, wolves probably chose a bland player which results in little information as possible for town.

And bob thanks for your expanded respone.

Lastly Pindicator and Commodore, either are you two just joking at posts #580,581,582, or I lack sense of humor?

Bob, don’t you think vote distributions leading up the final consolidation of votes in the last hour before deadline should be included in your analysis? I was on Gaspar for ~24 hours, Commodore for ~24 hours, and Pindicator for 15 seconds.

Maybe you should supplement your somewhat simplistic analysis with some tone reads? wink

You say pindi and comm come off as less scummy at that moment. Now you're voting for comm. Is he more scummy now?

Lewwyn got to it first, but yeah claiming someone comes off less scummy then voting for them is weird as hell. Of course they're joking by claiming to be scum buddies (WIFOM it all you want it's a null tell, except it's fun).

Gaz dying but not flipping is weird but from the reveal we did get and the pregame setup im expecting a lot of weirdness. Odds are hes town bc that's what I read him as yesterday and all the other explanations are too WIFOM for my tastes.

I dont see anything that makes me think I'm wrong about Commodore. My entire scum read on pindicator is mostly based on thinking scum didnt know about thrawn and that Comm decided to try and save himself and pindicator.

Commodore

Yeah okay but you didn't answer my questions. My question from my end of night post and #564

By the way. I forget who’s said it, but I don’t see either why this day is so obviously about Commodore and Pindicator. Even if they’re both scum there’s at least one more out there.

Commodore and Pindicator, instead of high fiving each other, why don’t you help us expand our horizons?

I was wondering about Commodore's use of word "scumbuddy"  at post #581 and Pindicator's words "fooled them" at post #582.
Maybe because I am not native english speaker, I lack same level of understanding as you how you look at their exchange.
But I think that you shouldn't use those words unless you wants paint tagret at yourself. In short I didn't extactly understand why they are saying that.
If they are really joking, then it seems that I have different sense of humor.

And with that moment I meant the last hour of day 1, both Commodore and Pindicator did come across less scummy than Thrawn for me when I re-read, so NOT less than other players.
And now Thrawn is gone and Pindicator and Commodore are doing such antics, which I wonder why?
Also I did vote for Bob before because he didn't post anything and he did post now something, soI don't see no reason for me to park vote at Bob anymore.
And honestly I am starting feel bit irritiated at Commodore's dolphin antics.

I would assume they are joking and making fun of everyone who thinks they are scum together. I found it very funny.

What is irritating you about flipper's antics? You mean the Roleplay?
